Friday, November 3, 2006, 1:25:12 AM- Ahem...I have an announcement to make
A month or so ago, I mentioned in a blog that “something big” was happening in my life but that I wasn’t yet ready to divulge what it was. Well, I’m ready now…

I have my very own website!

Yep, that’s my big news. My very own, very first, adult website. It’s been in development for about two months and finally launched this week. It was a very hectic couple of months working to put this together while juggling the needs of my sick family member, which ALWAYS came first, but it’s done now and I’m so proud of it. And I can’t wait to share it with everyone!

Funny, because up until this summer I never even considered having a website. I’ve posted naked pics of myself on the internet for the past two years or so and even though my face was always blurred or cropped out, I received a lot of offers to either develop a site for me, join an existing multi-girl site, or sell my photos to a site. Each time, D and I would discuss the offer very briefly and then turn it down. Having a website wasn’t for us, we said, that’s something other people do.

But then we hit a rough patch this year, and the idea of making a little extra money doing something we already do – taking sexy pics and vids of me – and, more importantly, something we truly enjoy doing, started to sound interesting. I can’t have a regular job until both of our mothers have passed away, so being able to work from home, again, doing something we’re already doing, seemed ideal.

Even though D and I have zilch experience designing and administering websites, we first looked into doing it ourselves. It didn’t take too long to realize we were in over our heads and needed some professional help. We found that help by contacting the webmistress of a site D belonged to and whose site design he’s always admired. Turned out that her husband is a topnotch graphics artist who created her website and that he was very interested in creating others. We worked out an arrangement with them, and then began the huge task of putting together all the content while they worked on the design and technical stuff. And after many long hours (and no small investment of money – our credit cards are still smokin’!), my website’s done.

We’ve started out with over 1,100 never-before-seen photos and over a dozen videos, most of them brand new, and the site will be updated with fresh content once or twice a week, EVERY week. And yes…I’m showing my full, unblurred face for the first time ever. Really!

The decision to show my face was almost as huge as the decision to have a website. But after loads of discussion, D and I decided it wasn’t that big of a deal. Our kids are adults now and wouldn’t be scarred for life if they found out, and we don’t have employers to worry about. We even told D’s mom about the site, though in very general terms. The less she knows, the better (not that she’d want to know everything, she’s definitely of the head-in-the-sand generation! lol). But we will keep blurring my face on pics posted on NN. If you want to see all of me, you’ll need to visit my site! wink

Yes, that means I’ll continue to post here. I can’t imagine ever leaving NN, I love this place and have made so many good friends. You guys are stuck with me, sorry!

Out of respect for NN’s rules, I won’t tell you the name of my website here. But if you’re interested in finding out more about it, you can e-mail me at curvysharon42h@msn.com.

Naturally, I’m hoping for everyone’s support, but if I can’t have that at least I’d like to have your understanding. smile

Anyway, nothing’s gonna change, except from now on I’ll just be a working girl. (errr, well, not a “working girl” working girl, but a girl who works and…uh…oh hell, you know what I mean! lol)

Hugs,
Sharon

Wednesday, November 1, 2006, 12:48:35 AM- Time for flannel
With the cool nights we're having now, I figured it was time to switch to my heavyweight flannel sheets. Sateen-like cotton sheets are great for our hot summers, but they're not what you'd call cozy. Not like flannel. Plush, warm, snuggle-able flannel. Hmm, can't wait to go to bed tonight! wink

Happy Halloween, everybody. Have a fun, safe night!!!

"Btw, in Canada, if we got sick of McCarver and FOX, we also got the ESPN international feed...not as much quick camera cutting and no McCarver."

Friday, October 27, 2006, 10:57:22 PM- This is just my opinion...
but I think when California's latest arsonist is caught, he or she should be charged with premeditated murder, not arson...because that's exactly what the crime was. sad

I always look forward to the World Series, love watching the Boys of October, but I just wish it weren't being broadcast on Fox. That means I have to listen to Tim McCarver...ARGHHH!!!

"Couldn't agree more about McCarver...He drives me crazy...Evry bit as bad as Rick Monday on Dodger broadcasts...Typically watch the Fox feed, then listen to the game on the radio"

Friday, October 20, 2006, 1:08:23 AM- Good news, and new pics
Got some very good news about my family member, seems like the chemo has worked big time. The cancer hasn't gone into remission, and the chemo will have to be continued for the rest of her life, but it appears she'll be with us longer than expected. I have to say I'm surprised after having stayed with her last week, it seemed to me that things were getting worse. But I'm just so happy and relieved.

I know I haven't been as good about posting pics lately as I used to be, but I did post some new ones tonight. They're from our most recent photo shoots. D's becoming a terrific photographer IMO. We've both learned that lighting is the key - it can either make you look really good or oh so bad. He just got a new flash unit that we love, I think it's noticeably improved the quality of our photos. Anyway, I hope you like them.

Have a good night, everyone, and...GO CARDINALS! Don't you dare choke tonight!!!

"Mastering the "art" of photography is extremely difficult and few can do it well. You and D are the exception, as your photos are always in focus, well thought out,and color choices and backgrounds are perfect. It is always a pleasure to view your artwork."

Tuesday, October 17, 2006, 12:30:02 AM- Yeah, I'm back...but still recuperating
Have to say this was the most physically and emotionally exhausting stay so far. And I know it's only going to get worse. But that's reality, and what can you do but accept it and deal with it, right?

Anyway, it's nice to be home. I am sooo loving this weather we're having. The sun's supposed to come out tomorrow for the rest of the week and it's supposed to get up to the 80's again, but yesterday and today it was kinda overcast and cool and I don't think it got to more than 60 degrees. Even had to turn on the heater in the morning for the first time since, I dunno...March? Perfect snuggling weather! wink

Saturday, October 7, 2006, 4:55:41 PM- No, it couldn't be
Is fall actually here??? It's been cool the past couple of days - downright cold at night - and it even sprinkled a little yesterday morning. Right now the sun's out but it's still only in the 50's.

Hehehe, I love it!!!

Friday, September 29, 2006, 1:00:08 AM- Sorry I couldn't post pics this week
Haven't had the time so far this week, and now tomorrow I'm going out of town to visit family. Hopefully I'll be able to post on Monday.

If I don't talk to you before I leave, have a great weekend, everybody! *hugs*
