Monday, October 17, 2005, 10:39:05 PM- Closing up the cabin
This is always one of the hardest days of the year. We find so much joy in this place and to leave it,even for a few months is always torture. Drain the pipes, turn off the pump, empty the fridge, drink all the beer. Were very concious of how lucky we are to have it at all.
As a little reward we had the most spectacular sunset on our last night. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I didn't know if it was going to turn out because it was about 40F and my hands were getting numb.

Sunday, October 16, 2005, 11:19:34 PM- So doug is right
You grow a lot of tomatoes, you can a lot of tomatoes. I know some people think I'm crazy, but I think I'm keeping a skill alive. My grandmother taught me how to can produce and although I don't have any kids to teach, I know I'll have a full pantry when something new disrupts our food distribution cycle. Most americans have no idea where their food comes from and if something awfull happens what are they going to do if the wallmart supercenter down the road shuts down. At least you N.N.ers can come to my house and feast.

"If I come to your house to feast, it won't be on tomatoes. ;) But seriously, I'm amazed by the skills and hobbies of the NN'er here, other than nudity. You are amazing. Thank you for sharing yourself with me."

Saturday, September 10, 2005, 10:03:58 PM- Third times not a charm
If any of you have suffered thru my rambling, stumbling attempts to take some new outdoor photos, you will be reassured to know that I managed to get busted the third time also. It was a recipe for disaster from the start. I drive WAY out of town, down a gravel road then a dirt road. I park, walk about a quarter mile, wade across a river. Then I walk about a half mile down the beach.I get set up, take a few photos and then my batteries go dead. I'm not giving up! I drive all the way back to town, buy batteries and do it all over again. I get set up and am trying to work on something impressive (again) when I hear the roar of an ATV crashing thru the woods about 40 feet behind my head. Who knew there was a trail there! (if there was) Well... I got a few pic's to post. Not what I wanted though. If anyone talks with Dough please tell him I miss him and hope he is doing well. That is my wish for all of you.

Saturday, August 27, 2005, 12:49:23 PM- I think it's here!
On a walk last night I smelled smoke. If you live in an area where people heat with wood, you develop the ability to tell the type of tree by its scent, this was oak. Autumn is when "somethings burning" changes to "someone has a fire".

"i love the smell of a good wood fire..and not the type of fire that engulfs your house! But after cutting about 20 cords of wood for winter in the Colorado mountains and then still running out, we aren't much in the wood cutting mode anymore. We got 'burned' out..lol..."

Wednesday, August 24, 2005, 7:57:32 PM- HEY..I'm Tryin to take a picture here!!
I'm not sure this outdoor nude photo taking is so easy to do! On my second attempt...again...busted. It's not like I'm in a popular place and I've tanned nude here for years. But getting caught 2 days in a row...crazy. This time it was a guy in a kayak paddling about 50 ft. away. I was trying to work up something more "impressive" and I look up and there he is! He just laughed and kept paddeling. Needless to say nothing "impressive" resulted. So if the guy in the kayak reads this, how bout a beer?

"LOL.....it's a lot easier if you can get someone else to take the photos, it's not so easy to do that type of 'impressive' photo outside on your own, fiddling with the camera so as it's set up right and you're in shot, as well as keeping a look out for anyone else stumbling on the scene."

Tuesday, August 23, 2005, 1:31:49 AM- Had to start sometime!
I told myself I'd blog to celebrate my first posting! And here I am,tounge tied with nothing to say. Taking my first pictures was a humbling experience. I'm pretty comfortable with my body.I've always said ,everyone is given a body, you'll spend the rest of your life comming to terms with the body your given. When you are looking at every pore, bigger than naked life, you just have to say OH WELL! The highlite of the day was getting busted taking the mountain top pic! I just stood up and waved, then I busted my ass getting to the car! Thank you to all the N.N.ers who have shared so much of their sexy lives!
