some half descent outdoor shots tommorrow. Been trying to get some with my glasses and cowboy hat for sandman. The inside lighting sucks for these. So maybe outdoors will make em better. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Thanks again to all who have been praying, sending well wishes and lighting candles for TJ. I am glad to let you all know that this afternoon bout half hour ago. We got to bring him home. He is able to keep down half formula, half pedialyte in the amount of 2 oz. every three hours. They won't try full strenght formula until after we see the surgeon again on tuesday. His pede dr id 5 minutes away, and fire dept. 2 minutes away if anything should happen but I am not even gonna think like that. We are so glad he's home. And I think he is too....lol.
He's sleeping on the bed next to Night, and Night playing with his tiny lil hands. Just wanted to let everyone know and say thnks again to all. Hope we can be there for everyone when they need us as you all have been for us. Hugs, SMO4 & Night.

Night and I got back a few minutes ago. We were there for the 8pm feeding. He gave us a couple smilles even.

His 5pm feeding was 20 cc and he held it all down. YAY !!!!!!!
His 8 pm feeding he was allowed 40 cc, but could only take 32. And so far he is holding it down.

They give him tylenol before his feedings. Maybe so his lil stomach don't hurt, not real sure why.

They will offer him 60 cc at 11 pm, and if he holds it down ok, then at 2 a.m. they will try half formula and half pedialyte. If he can't tolerate it then we start back at 20 cc of pedialyte again. But I am hopeful at this point.

Hi all my friends and first Night and I woulld like to thank you for your prayers, well wishes and friendship. Surgury was a lil delayed this morning. He was finished with surgery around 1:30 pm. The surgeon said it went well. He was on a respirator for awhile to help him breathe as he had problems breathing on his own. When he woke up and was breathing on his own, they brought him back to his room. They gave him meds for pain, and help him rest. They are going to try and feed him 2cc of pedialyte to start at 5, then up it to 3cc at 8pm. If all goes well and he keeps it down, they hope to start with diluted formula at around 2 am. He has starting to get his pretty pink color back. The dr says its cause he's not dehydrated anymore cause of the IV's. I was so glad to see him in his room without the machines on him, and all the wires and electrodes, and nothing stuck down his throat. I will update again as I know more. I will be going back to the hospital later after I feed the kids and hubby here.

The grandbaby had a rough nght last night. We wound up getting his ultrasound today. He was admitted to the hospital immediately after. They were gonna take him into emergency surgery this afternoon, but due to the bloodwork results his electrolites were way off. They have his lil ands strapped to boards. Wires and I.V.s in them. He screams and cries and it breaks your heart knowing he's hungry and you can't feed him. He has a double blockage in his valves in going to his stomach. And his stomach has to be empty for the surgery. They won't feed him with IVs either. They will be doing surgery at 5 am tommorrow. Sorry to bother yall with it. I'm glad NN made blogs, kinda helps relieve stuff you would normally hold in.

Started my day with taking the kids for psyicals for school, all came out well for all 3. And took my grandbaby too, hes been throwing up his food and pedialyte. He goes Friday for an ultrasound, as they think his stomach valves are closing. If so they will have to do surgery. And come on NN and see we have lost a true chatroom gentleman. Dragonfire9, I didn't know him as long or as well as others, but he was always respectful of others here.
I did however manage to finish the new pens for the ducks and geese, it only took about a week....lol.

I make it a rule to always lock my car doors. Well all day I have rolled up my windows and locked my doors at every stop. The traffic was hectic as hell from a bad wreck on the interstate. The traffic was being diverted to our main road. Took me half hour to get 3 miles. And to make matters worse, I get home go to roll up the windows and lock the doors. And my window won't go up. Well Night changes fuses and nothing. Tries taking off the door panel to check it out. And low and behold, here comes the afternoon thunderstorms. I learned real quick that duct tape don't stick on wet surfaces.....lol. Its been a great day. Hope tommorrows is better.
