That is the unfortunate truth of life. Until they get evidence to suggest that a crime has been committed, they are free to roam the streets and do as they please.

Better get or rent a surveillance camera.
I only call the Law once.

Sorry you are not getting anywhere with the police. I like the camera idea though!

SMO4, May I?? I don't know if we are talking city or county PD> Call on the next shift like 3-11 and keep calm, don't piss em off to start with. Now, I don't know about the past incident but if it was a Robbery (any felony) give the officers the new info about the car etc. Tag would be great, otherwise best description you can come up with. They can put out a BOLO (be on the lookout) for the veh and if its found the peeps inside can be id and talked to by the Police. There is nothing they can do ARREST wise if it doesnt happen in front of them but they can take an incident report and write down all the info you give them. You either got a slacker Police Officer or a Rookie. If all else fails, ask the officer to call his supervisor that you would like to talk to him/her. That will get something rolling. Just remember hon, I know that you are pissed but try to start off on the right foot with the other officers. Hope this helps, not trying to get in your business. It's protect and sreve not "nothing we can do".

I have a say the call to police should be necessary every time..if you are willing to not take things into your own hands. But the idea is good of documentation....I hope that is enough?...I do not condone trouble nor should anyone else...After all I have so many cheeks...and most have been seen....
But My wingman could be correct...depends on the situation
