as always my wife did a great job... measures by eye
we peeled and steamed the shrimp(prawn) in beer...coating them with old bay.... spanish paprika and roasted garlic...done in only 5 min
let them cool and then cut them in thirds (she hired an armed guard to make sure i didn't eat any)
diced up 3 celery stalks and 1/4 of a med white onion
+/- 1-1/2 cups of mayo and +/-1-1/2 tablespoons of medium hot salsa as made by the local hispanic market
mixed all the ingredients and chilled.... served on 8" sub rolls... just enough of the spices ...not over powering and the shrimp (prawns) were perfect......
she suffers from familial tremors... involuntary shaking of the hands... so i do most of the cooking with her guidance....her joke..not mine... unless shes making a milk shake
