Just one of the so many Classic Batmobile restoraration experts,,,
Actually..I don't know how to change Batman into Robin. Robin tends to fall out of Batmobile and tends to get lost. Very rare original replacements around these days. Batman is safely behind the wheel...
The original 60's Corgie Batmobile figures were loosely seated and moved as the Batmobile swerved. Batman was behind the wheel and the the wheel tended to to keep him securely seated..
The same could not be said for poor Robin though. Just by flipping The Batmobile over sent Robin flying !
They did not wear seat belts in those days
Today, Original Robins are in very short suppy because so many went A.W.O.L
There are a few about and there are also reproductions, mostly in metal. (The originals were plastic)
For me..It's great to have an original Robin, alongside my original Batman, inside my original center piece Batmobile
