I prefer trimmed, and having shaved balls means i can get down there a bit without getting hair in my mouth (also a problem for us girls too, thank you very much!!)

Shaved mine yesterday, I think to option C - shaft and balls clean shaved to skin, surounding bush trimmed well back to (6mm, or a little less than the thickness of a finger)
