Being financially independent, being in good health, sunshine, the smell in the air after a summer thunderstorm, train travel, clothing optional resorts, sexy uninhibited women, my dogs, road trips, singing, good music, good friends, sharing my time with someone important to me, intimacy on many levels, video games, good horror novels. A beautiful smile on a beautiful woman.
What makes me sad
Stress, week-long bouts of rain, short winter days, any absence of affection
What makes me mad
Bad manners, users & takers, politicians, corporate greed and personal excess, cruelty inflicted on anything or anyone that is helpless, people who simply don't care, flight delays, airport security delays, traffic jams, hidden fees and other money grabbing tools. Bad excuses. Terrible liars.

The meaning of life is...
42. Just kidding. Early in my executive career my manager and mentor at the time gave me two excellent pieces of advice that can be shaped to fit the context of a great spectrum of human interactions - at work, home, or at play. Many years later I still remember them and do put this simple wisdom to use when it counts. His two statements of advice to me were: 1. Remember to Lead with Love. And for successful relationships: 2. Always remember to ask yourself: "Would you rather be right?" - or - "Would you rather be...loved?" Simple as they sound - they are hard lessons to practice at times. But very well worth it once mastered. EponymZach
