SO the fucking Halloween Howler sold out in two and a half hours, 8000 tickets GONE! I told Mr. Puss he should come home as soon as they go on sale and buy some online. But I didn't 'strongly urge' him cause its a pain in the ass to drive home then go back to work.

I'm fuckin pissed off, now we have to scramble around to try and win tickets. I hate listening to the same station all day every day, drives me nutso.

Its the 15th annual halloween party hosted by the local rock station here. I always thought you had to WIN tickets to get in at all, but they go on sale wednesday. They are always sold out and a portion they keep for people to win on the radio. Buck Cherry will be playing along with two other bands I never heard of, but I'm not as interested in the band as I am the party.

I've got the phone ready to go at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning when the tickets go on sale. Its supposed to be the best Halloween party in edmonton, and I'm a fucking halloween spaz case.

I'm happy and even more excited about our costumes.

Er "our" back. We have this one client who has been with us for a year, we're onto halter training and basic ground manner work with his third weanling. He just left with his mare we call "Twinkle Twat" (she was in heat for about a year LOL)...He said that she is a bag to load in the trailer and he brought a buddy to help and Mr. Puss and I offered our services. SO he leads her out of the stall and she saunters behind him down the isleway and into the awaiting open trailer outside. Like she does it everyday. He gave me that SAME look he gave the first time he left with his formerly 'crazy' baby.

I was like "Fuck yeah, we fucking rock". Neither of us ever trailer trained her or anything but she did get a lot of handling and attention here. They all do. It just makes me feel proud when it shows. I'd like to get more into the training aspect of this boarding facility, but I won't have the time with all the chores we have to face come winter.

When he first arrived with this paint/arab mare last spring he warned us that she is crazy, and by crazy he meant aggressive and told us not to trust her. She never once exhibited 'crazyness' here. Sure when she first got here she didn't want anything to do with anyone, but after she foaled and had no choice but to trust us I think she figured us out. Plus feeding her oats every day to fatten up her skinny post partum form didn't hurt lol. He said she won't go in a barn and that she needs to foal outside. We had problems moving her inside once, after that she was a piece of cake.

Now he left her weanling with us to do some ground work with. I look forward to another 'look' of amazment when she loads into her trailer to go home in a few monthes.

So I received my uber cool pvc opera gloves yesterday, tried them on and was surprised at how comfy they are. They look uber awesome, and just make me wanna order more plastic clothing... Hence the next item on my halloween shopping list...

I found these in an ad for a catsuit from another site, didn't take me too long to find the supplier for these.


Oh yeah, my spiderweb bodystocking was shipped out a week ago. It will probably take another week or two. I just gotta order the above boots and some fangs, the rest of my costume will be homemade... except the contact lenses of course lol. I heard Wal-Mart has theatrical contacts.

A few peeps have been askin about the piggy, she's doin pretty good. Getting big and my other animals are getting used to her. She was sharing hay with our alpha mare Bella the other day, almost gave Mr. Puss a heart attack LOL. I like bloggin pics, so I'll throw her in here.

Well Charlie is gone for good, even though I cling to the hope that his owner will change his mind. His shadow, my yearling Diesel, was uber pissed right off. It was like weaning him all over again.

Oh yeah, I get a message in my facebook inbox from a really OLD friend. I haven't heard from her since our boss fired me back in '03. This was totally outta the blue, she apologized for how things ended up and said she misses me. I was thinking WHAT THE FACK??? I always assumed she just wrote me off. I sent her a message back, I always have missed her and I don't hold grudges.

SO Mr. Puss gets a message on his phone today from a boarder, whining that her horse has scratches on her and they are from a new mare we just put in the pasture. I was like "HUH?", knowng that her horse and her sister's horse are both the 'boss' mares of the pasture and NO ONE eats until they let them. Even if it's the other mare starting shit, who cares... Its all part of the risk of CHOOSING pasture/group turn out... FUCKING anal horse people!

I vaguely remember some fuck nut city slicker douche bag who woke us up at 11 pm to tell us he wants his dainty little arab out of the pasture and into a paddock... From the bite marks. Grrr.

Why some people who assume every Tom, Dick and Harry to be their "friend".... Simply because they've met a few times or have some sort of online repretoire (sp?) They have tons of friends, a limitless list... But how many of these people actually fall under the discription "friend"... Sometimes its a word that is thrown about too often and very much over used. ESPECIALLY if someone passes away, then all these devoted friends just come a climbin outta the wood work. They were never around when it was important, when they were ALIVE but they'll all congregate and boast about how close they were with so-and-so.

That gets me on another thing I dont get...

Funerals. Of course funerals for someone you are close to, a real friend, a relative, a friendly co-worker, lifelong family doctor... but I hate when I hear of people going to a funeral for someone they not only don't know, but have never even met. Sure I get the "well they wanna pay their respects" schpiel, but to me what's respectful is allowing the mourning period for the people who NEED it. Not the people who wanna show up to make themselves feel important, feel like they are a part of something. Or maybe to get a day off work/school.

Same with people who act like they care when they don't... sure I may seem like a "bitch", but at least I'm honest.

Those guys have the coolest job ever.

I lost my camera somewhere today, I'm hoping no one stole it or it doesn't get rained on. fack.

I wanted to stay in bed and relish my hangover this morning but Mr. Puss wasn't home to feed the mules. I'm glad I got up early cause it was way too nice a day to waste.

I rode Charlie one last time, was a good ride. Those oats have definately increased his energy level... But he made up for it in loss of brain cells lol. I left him in the big pasture knowing his owner won't be able to catch him tommorow.. HA HA HA!

The one time I have all my eggs cleaned and organized and packaged no one wants em!

I miss Mr. Puss (He's at his parents farm helping his dad with stuff)

I actually socialized last night, the whole gang was there. Including some people I have somewhat burnt some bridges with. I think we are in the process of rebuilding. It feels good.

The one thing I like about summer subsiding is appreciating a nice hot bath at night....
