Friday, November 20, 2009, 12:58:00 AM- I feel like a sleezy archeologist!
http://filefap.com/thumbs/small/550020_b65gx/me%20015.jpg[/img] In thumnail form for your viewing ease; This - is hopfully making things a little more clear; This blue tubular object you see before you; is a shaker flask filled with Alginate/water mixture! Ready for a limb to be plunged into and held for several minits untill the alginate sets, forming a lovely lifelike impression in 3d, of said appendage - normally a hand or similar. Once set, you then remove the bodypart and pour in your mix of liquid latex (mixed with desired pigment coloring and catalys to aid quick setting) And leave to set inside the mould. Several hours later, you may break away the alginate carfully to exavate you new replica! Now, during my moulding experience, what did I learn? 1)Well... I learnt that for one...you should deffinatly be totally hairless, else you tend to leave the majority of your hairs behind in the mould....ouch! Fortunatly Im rather trimmed anyway; so it wasn't overly painfull.... 2)Next.. a setting mould that requires you to push out all the air around the item you are replicating... leads to suction force... most notably around the extremes of the "item" and this can cause some discomfort when you realise that the "Item" is essentially hollow with a hole in the end...and the slowly setting alginate begins to set more rapidly towards the end.. this becomes a noticable suction force! 3)Shoving your cock into a tube of cold minty-smelling jelly-like substance is totally not an arousing experience at all and what could have been the most magnificent of hard-ons; is very quickly blown away by the overall wierdness of the act; leaving you with one somwhat flaccid member! So there we have it; my first attempt at cock-casting; and I was creeped out by it and couldnt really stay too hard whilst waiting for the gel to set and nearly had my cock turned inside out due to suction pressure! Overall Im actually rather impressed with the replica; the detail on it is fantastic - you can see quite clearly - and feel the raised veins, the skin where it folds around the head; i was even the texture of the scrote-base came out well; Oh and its blue! I might get another bag of alginate (since its so cheap) and try again for a better "fuller sized" version, I suppose what I have created is the travel-bag size. So... selling them for $50 each? any takers? I shall upload a full sized image to my NN profile enjoy!

I made a mould of my finger last night to get to grips with this alginate stuff ive got; Its rather freaky; for a fiver this stuff is deffinatly well worth it for halloween!! I was chewing on my "finger" a bit; its reeealy creepy because its MY finger! Im tempted to splash out and make a copy of my entire arm for next year! that would be great fun! I could actually go as somthing decent to a party for once! Im off to play some more now On another topic; I fudged up a specimin image collection I worked on for a long time But its pretty non-the-less - but photobcket wont let me linky it

Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 12:29:16 AM- Hooray for costlyness
So... I wish I had somthing interesting to blog about - but I realy dont sadly. I got an interview for a new job - which is great, im moving from working with healthcare for people, to healthcare with animals which is also a bit more hands on and unusual - I cant go into much more detail or those pesky internet stalkers might track me and my spidermonkies down! On a followup note; my bills are still as costly as ever - and I cant afford to fly all my stuff to germany ; although I had a telephone interview with GSK (glaxo-smith) which has labs based in the country. I have however gotten the nice request of checking in on my parents house each weekend whilst they are away for 3 weeks... Now they actually live much closer to work that I do! So bingo ; 3 weeks of no waterbills and electricity bills for me! They go away this sunday - so all those eagerly anticipating the images from my project, I now have a start date! ..oh right blogs need somthing to reward you for reading my innane ramblings. I just uploaded a new photo; much to some peoples joy and others dismay; its just me and its far from X-rated ^_^

From left to right: Non-toxic lead free pigment. Dental Plaster. Thickening Agent. Plater Bandages. Mixing spatula. Animatronics liquid latex. Alginate Powder. The more I think about it the stranger this really is; but also its incredibly amusing - Hell, If I was reading about one of my friends doing this; id be somwhat amused, so I hope you are too! Im not about ready to start work just yet, I figure I need to spend a bit longer in abstinence and ensure im 100% on the whole casting process; its rather simple in essence 4 step process; 1. Ensure your model is adequitly prepared for casting. 2. Apply alginate mixture to casting "tool" 3. Allow 1-2 minits for alginate to dry 4. Apply plaster of paris bandages to create a solid cast around the alginate 5. Once dried, the whole mould can then be removed 6. You now Have a negative cast! This can be filled with plaster of paris normally, the create a solid positive version of the original peice; or directly filled with your candle-wax, silicone, water (if you wish to make unusual shaped ice-lollies; Anything really!

Friday, October 30, 2009, 4:24:50 PM- So im trying to procrastinate....
But the website appears to be dying - at least from my end; everything is so slow... I suppose I can just go back to work. Well I had an email update on my casting gear; should be here by monday/tuesday! Ill be sure to photograph document it all ^_^ from start to finish.... Any suggestions as to how I can maintain a... "solid position" for up to 15minits whilst waiting for the cast to set o.O haha, this could prove comical. So I was looking over my utility bills today... bloodyhell I pay a lot for water and heating :< I like hot showers... guess I could train in the morning instead and take my morning shower at work too to save cash; but thats kinda cheap I need to start cohabbiting - anyone letting??

Thursday, October 29, 2009, 5:59:06 PM- Passing time;
Well, whislt im waiting for my sculpting tools to arrive, I have been perusing others blogs; It seems posting music videos is all the rage right now so I will jump on the bandwagon and share with you a tune that everyone should hear once, Its one of my selection I like to flick on when some bast pulls up next to the car with his bass so high the wipers are bouncing off his windshield, wether you like guitar music or not Eric Johnson's Cliffs of Dover is a masterpeice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55nAwmVLQSk I always though posting music tastes on a blog or forum where you desire the respect of your peers was quite risky; people can be very "cliquey" based on their music tastes but there you go; I dare you to listen to this one and not catch yourself head bobbing or shaking a foot absent mindedly!

Wednesday, October 28, 2009, 4:42:51 PM- Red and yellow and green and blueeeee......
Well im all set now; but what colors to chose; For candles well thats quite easy; ive chosen a nice deep christmasy red; but of corse there is the little issue of the negative; I have spend a lot of time looking for non-lead dyes and totally safe materials to use (A degree in bioscience finnaly finding a use for real world prediciments!)for I have decided to make a silicone negative - yes thats right; the cast will be used to create a 100% accurate silicone replica negative of the original casting "tool" Now im leaning towards a translucent - marbled effect but what does anyone else think? (If you even have the slightest idea what im talking about!) Blues and greens could be quite funky! Or should I stick with a traditional opaque or pink tint to the clear rubber? Now, I know I have promised 2 candle casts already; but surely this would be much cooler! Hmm... Perhaps I could raffle off the finished product! It will be 100% safe, nontoxic and tear resistant...

Tuesday, October 27, 2009, 3:11:55 PM- So it begins!
Okay; well I have found myself with a lot more free-time than usual during a job-transition; My current job has cut hours back for everyone and im looking to relocate for work elswhere; I wont go too deep into what I do, that breeds stalkers! Meanwhilst I am undertaking a christmas project; Im quite excited about it actually! It could prove to be quite fun! Stay pegged as I will reveal more in the near future; but untill then, you can speculate what these things have in common: Hmm... Okay.... Oooh, scented oil? And...colored Pigment... Hmm.. Like a scavanger hunt! These should take a few days to gather...
