I had some errands to attend today. So, I was stirring a bit sooner than usual. Despite it not being time for my lone feeding. How does one get this big eating once a day? That is a question for another day. Today I had an urge to continue a quest for the grail. Every city has one, and I had yet to find the one here. The grail is the Chinese place where the Asians eat. I have roamed from place to place over the last decade and had some lovely food, but had not found the one. So, on today's outing I visit my umpteenth establishment. Upon entering, it is rather crowded and non Asian faces are at a premium. The smell is pure aromatic bliss. I know this smell well. It is the smell of good Chinese cuisine. Not wanting to rush to judgement I ordered husband and wife, and waited to judge to outcome. With a bite and a warm sigh, I am reminded of why I search for Asians. Chinese food is a wonder for the palette. Unfortunately, too often it is slanted for Americans. Chinese food prepared properly lacks the sweetness you find too often. This is Chinese food. This makes me happy.
