Yes! Aussie land has saved the planet!

We have officially implemented wot will become a CABON TRADING SCHEME.

Now, the majority of aussies obviously don’t give a damn about the planet cus they don’t want the scheme BUT fortunately, we have a brave government who wisely bent the rules of democracy and went against the majorities wishes to save planet earth.

From a layman’s point of view, this is how it works.

Big poluters will be charged $23 a tonne for carbon they produce.

Stupid aussies complained that th companies would pass on the costs to the consumer or simply move offshore.

Now, this is where the govt shows its cleverness. THEY tell us that we’ll be better off cus part of the revenue they raise will be given back to us in the form of tax cuts.

SO, they get money, pay some to us so we are better off, and the planet is saved!

Eventually, if the polluters clean up their act and produce less carbon, companies will be able to trade with other companies who can BUY their clean air (TRADE) at a negotiated price. That way they will be able to pollute air at a cheaper cost.

The govt reckons companies will pass those savings to the consumer (or in the PM’s words) ….we certainly hope that’s the case.

Whats that you say? How does that cut pollution?

Its obvious!!..... Its just that ME, being a simple aussie, don’t have the brains to explain BUT, our clever politicians can….SO, PERHAPS YOU CAN WRITE AND ASK THEM!

In fact, we will cut pollution by 5% by the year 2020. As we contribute between 1.5 and 2% of the total cabon produced in the world, I’m sure you can c we are going to make a significant contribution to cleaning up this planet.

we've had some unseasonal rain lately and i noticed a lot of snails in the gardeen so i sprinkled some pellets.

yeeew! the next day, there was hundreds of em and some of the shells were upside down with greeny slime in em!

i almost barfed and i got to thinkin how savage we are. the poor critters just wanna eat live and reproduce, much the same as us and we commit mass genocide by giving em a gruesome death.

forgive me snails,... i didn't want it to end like that for yas.

I was recently given some medical advice by my NN doctor.

It involves yodelling but doesn’t give any warning about the potential to choke to death.

Its very tongue intensive and there is a danger that with all the yodelodelodelling you could lose control of your tongue and swallow it.

Other than that, the practice is therapeutic with the added benefit that if ya don’t swallow ya tongue all the tongue exercise could really cum in handy and please ya partner. )

we just had a telethon and raised over $13 mil for the children's hospital. not bad hey for a stwtw that has just over 1 mill ppl.

we also have a commonwealth heads of state meeting(CHOGM) held over 4 days. even the queen is here.

we spent $55 mil upgrading the roads between the airport and government house and lotsa money upgrating a coupla wards at a hospital in case a dignitary gets sick.

yup, good move there!.... fuck the kids, lets spend money on impressing dignitaries.

how much more could have been done for sick children with that money?

governments infuriate me! yup they piss me right off! the roads are good enuff for the masses to use every day, but not for the priviledged.

my lil head is spinning. im struggling coming off depression meds. i wake in the night with a (i;m not sure what) sort of a smell, taste, or just a mental feeling of something that i recognise but can;t place.

its scarey. i've had it b4! i hate it!

i'm reduced to the tiniest amount but i'm teetering on the edge of going back on.

I was driving today through perth on friday and slowed at an intersection and a young lady was waiting to cross the road.

She had on a flowing c-thru type dress, long at the back and shorter in the front.

By c-thru, I mean in a teasy fashion.

Anyway. I had to stop for the lights and as she crossed the road, she looked directly at me and I smiled and held up both hands signifying “10”

I don’t usually do that …but!...it just seemed appropriate some how.
She gave the biggest smile so must have enjoyed the compliment and her nice smile made my day too.

I love those lil moments in time when momentarily time doesn’t suck the life out of ya!

Hey, i just saw a quiz show on tv which gave three names and asked which person has a higher IQ than Einstein. Naturally, Sharon Stone was one of the 3 ppl listed cus she’s the one!

So,…… perfect tits, perfect legs, perfect face, perfect hands, butt, eyes,lips.vagina etc etc…the list goes on.

So next thing, I’m born and the nurse announces “OH, it’s a girl, no…boy ….welllll….boyish thing!

And, they completely forgot about my brain!!

i had to make deliveries today to an old movie theatre. its been closed for years and its now used as a warehouse.

i had a look around it and it felt funny seeing it today as a delapidated building. it wasn't hard to imagine it in its heyday.

lots of young lovers going to the movies. i wondered teens had theirmfirst kiss or grope in that theatre.

in those days, it's where you went to make out.

while i was there, several older people stood at the open rollerdoor and looked in and i wondered if they were remembering happy times past.

i guess some are now deceased, and most certainly, all would by now have lost the joy and energy of youth.

most are probably grandparents now and time has stolen the beauty of youth.

time is cruel but it can't be stopped, it marches inexorably on eventually sucking life from every living thing.

afterwards. i backed my truck into the street to leave. it was pretty conjested and i saw a lady put her hand to her chest and she smiled at me and mouthed something i couldn't hear but it was obvious she was praising my reversing. i gave a big grin back and a thumbs up and she did the same and i drive off feeling really good.

all in all, it was a good day and one day it will be sad to have to leave.
