Thats all I can let Little Man sleep tonight.Keeping him awake til midnight isnt much of a problem but how in the world do we make him get out of bed at 4am? The Doctors make it sound so easy, just go about your normal morning routine. Wake him have him wash up, get dressed, eat breakfast then go for an really morning walk. That's actually going to be cool we can go for a walk and enjoy the sunrise!

But seriously this is going to be tough his test isn't until 2:15 pm and its almost an hour's drive from Boston. Childrens Hospital didn't have an appt for over 5 months so we are going to a "sister" hospital of theirs. By the time we leave my Little Man is going to be exhausted(which is worrisome) and fall asleep in the car. Once we get there he can sleep somehwat. It's a 3 hour test of falling asleep & waking him up 5, 10, 15 & 30 minute intervals or something like that. It's almost like they want an episode of sorts to happen while the electrodes(?) are reading his brain. wtf. They are not "trigger" seizures but somehow falling asleep and waking up play a huge part with an episode occurring.

We delayed the closing of the house it was supposed to be at Noon tomorrow.

It's been 6 days,not too bad(lol)I've been preoccupied with so many things and the main concern being my Little Man, which btw he had a decent night lastnight. My Little Man's health has taken precedence over everything, even the closing of the house.
Usually everyday Hubbs gets a pic or two and on days he doesn't he is texting me asking wheres my pic? lol Not even a pic since last Friday! Ohh the withdrawals!!!

Hubbs and Little Man are heading to the music store today, I'll wait til they leave to take my shower. It's going to be a long hot shower....

Thank you so much to all for their kind words and prayers for my Son. Last night he had a restful sleep but for the first two hours his body did nothing but little twitches, my Husband and I haven't slept. How can you when they tell you the seizures are somewhat related to sleep. They are called partial seizures and can be how it was for My Son Saturday night(horrifying) or something simple as the inside of his mouth having a pins and needles type of feeling which he had happen twice to him last week but it was only that way for a few minutes. I thought it odd but because it went away within minutes and he felt fine I didn't think much of it.Now we know differently. it happened yesterday also to him he went numb to his lips for a couple of minutes.

It's going to be a long week til his appt next Tuesday. If they are correct with their current diagnosis the episodes will stop after puberty, he's almost 10 so we have a bit to still go. (omg Little Man is going to be double digits in September!) They say these types of seizures normally don't cause any long term damage or lesions. They are not trigger seizures however after a certain point the Rolandic section of the brain can only take soo much so they have said sometimes certain stressful situations can cause excessive twitching while falling in to a deep sleep. That's my Little Man poor thing stressed to the max and just a kid. He was trying to be so brave about Papa's passing in May and all the bullshit going on here and trying to make the move a positive one. He's been on overload and can't enjoy himself outside because of that mean old man upstairs( which he yelled at him agian Saturday afternoon)I'm so ashamed of him being my Son's Great-Grandfather. This move can't come fast enough. I never thought it would come to this happening to my Son. Somehow I know it all ties in...

I'm thankful it wasn't a stroke, I guess the commercials and billboards drilled it into my head "know the signs of a stroke" maybe in parenthesis they should put or it could be a partial seizure. It was clear what was happening Saturday night regardless of the commercials but thinking back now I hope they do help people be more aware and please don't be afraid to assist in an emergency. No don't be a Doctor but don't pass by someone in distress.

omg I hope we never experience a night like lastt night again. Scariest thing in the world seeing your healthy little boy in hte back seat taking what you thought was a stroke. wtf Hubby couldn't pull over fast enough and call 911. I jumped over the seat uncapped my not so Little Man putting my fingers in his mouth his tongue was out of control and half his face was drooping. My poor Little Man he seized for about a minute, but seemed like an hour, every second was slow motion. He gurgled drooled and went limp my arms. I kicked the back door open so hard I thought i broke the car door who gives a shit its just a car. When the paramedics got to us,the were so cool with my Son trying to make him feel at ease and even commented on his long hair! lol that made my Little Man crack a small smile( he loves his hair lol)
After hours at Childrens Hospital and countless tests and lab work and no further episodes they decided we could take Little Man home.
They diagnosed my Son with Benign Rolandic Epilepsy. They say its more common in boys than girls and comes about between the ages of 7 & 10. He will see another Nuerologist during the week for further testing.
He was so brave

Packing sucks,I've gotten rid of lots but some stuff I can't part with yet or it's needed. I'd say Im about 70% packed. The closing is just days away. It was supposed to be this Friday but of course something came about to prolong it a couple of more days..

Only bringing the living room furniture(and it's not staying too long lol)so there will be lots of shopping soon.I've been looking but don't want to buy til I know the measurements and such of all the rooms. I'm actually excited about buying a refrigerator! lmao I'm surprised I haven't bought anything yet, I just want to wait til the final Signatures are complete. Then all the fun stuff begins! I have my colors somewhat picked out to paint and then shopping shopping shopping! We have a pod service dropping a crate off in front of our house now and as soon as its packed up the company will pick it up and deliver it Our new House!
