OMG! Finally it's beginning to happen and sure does improve your outlook!

All my daytime friends were busy traveling or working. I did make it to the gym right at 8:00 am this morning. After that it went into snooze mode.

It's been a while since I wanked. That's right! I almost forgot how good it felt after having blue balls for so long. When my wife gets home she'll wonder why I'm in a good mood. She doesn't have any interest so I just took matters into my own hands!

It started snowing mid morning then just melted. A few hours the snow cranked up again and now it's sticking and coming down hard with big flakes. We hadn't had much snow this winter so this is sort of exciting! The weather guys say about 4" to 5" by midnight.

You know my days are boring when I get this excited about a little snow.

Today is a regrouping day. My sons family left and the house is finally quiet. More cleaning was necessary after the kids climbed over everything exploring nearly every single room.

It's still so cold outside so forget any long walks for exercise. It appears I'll be going to the gym after a while to burn off the extra frustration I've built up over the weekend. On the good side, tomorrow is Monday and the beginning of a whole new week.

My daughter is on her way back from downtown Chicago. They had maybe a little too much fun but isn't the reason for going in the first place?

Oh yea... I'm love like sucks a big one!

Its 2:00 in the morning and I'm awake and bored. My head just won't let me sleep lately. The mood around here Is something quite less than desiresed. My sons family is showing up in the morning. so the rest of my weekend will be kept busy with the little ones running around the house getting into everything.
This might be fun except it'll be so fucking cold we won't be going outside to play at all.

My wife and I decided to cancel Valentines day. It doesn't seem to have purpose in our house. It was my idea and she quickly agreed. Why add pressure to any possible modes of rejection. It's just easier to say it doesn't matter anyway. Well, it's the truth. Are we in the minority?

I've been in Michigan since last Sunday. My father in law died suddenly and the family has been a real mess recently. Let me just say that grieving isn't much fun but it is a part of real life. The entire family was together most all the time. The evening were spent drinking and telling stories about the old man. He really knew how to live life. He was maybe the finest person I've ever met.

Now everyone has departed for their homes, whether it's here, or California.. and the normal lives take grip again. We got home late last night. We were tired so we just emptied the car and turned on TV. Today we spent the entire day cleaning because my son's family is coming for the weekend. Didn't we just see them? Sure we did.. but it seems a little different now.

It wasn't raining all night. It was pouring! The perfect sound to make you sleep. I woke up at 5:30, looked at the clock, and turned back over. The next time I looked at the clock it said 8:00. Guess my body was saying cool it, you need the sleep.

Having the entire house to myself, my entire schedule has been non-existent which is nice up to now. I leave Monday morning, traveling to Michigan for my father in law funeral. Everything I need to complete.. cleaning, laundry, packing, shopping, and other chores has to be done by tomorrow evening. This morning I itemized a list and hope to achieve them all by tonight. Get it all behind me.

Tonight is the huge NCAA Kansas-Missouri basketball game on national TV. I'd like to enjoy that. Tomorrow is the Superbowl, of course. I do wish I was going to a Superbowl party but our friend who always throw the party are on vacation. So I decided to make it up big just for myself. Real life returns quickly enough on Monday.
