My son bought a new house. They are quite excited about that as expected. But then my daughter gets a new job that will boost her income by 20% and she only has to work 3 days a week. Last night storms were all around us but it never rained. At least we'll stay under 100 degrees today for the 1st time in 10 days. I never thought I'd consider 95 a cooling period. In a while I'll be working for a few hours at my new job. Maybe I'll do a deal that will earn me some income and will help my self esteem a bit. No sex in a long time and I haven't even gotten myself off in a while too. Self induced blue balls! | ||||||

Everything is fucking hot and dry! Most firework displays have been canceled for fear of fire. Everyone is taking this seriously! For us it's been an entire week of triple digit temperatures of 100 or more. Today it was 105. It's too hot to go to the pool. So what did we do? We took a 2 hour bike ride at 9:00 this morning. After that I spent the day indoors getting two computers for recycling by taking out the hard drives! But It's Still the 4th! It really does mean something! | ||||||

I picked up my daughter, her husband and another couple at the airport after they competed their Florida vacation. They were not a happy group since it had rained every day. It's gotta suck thinking a nice beach trip and getting opposite. Better them than me I suppose. | ||||||

It's not a big deal if you get stung by a bee. It just happens every once in a while but twice in one day.... at two different locations! The first was was walking with the dog and the second was outside my daughter's apartment on the 3rd floor. Go figure that. Here's the weirder part. Both stings were within 2 inches of each other near my right elbow. | ||||||
