Well It was a nice night to spend in the shop so I went and started work on a new project. I had this idea to re-purpose a shipping pallet I had laying around.  First I need to cut the bits I need from it.  Work on the parts to make the fits just right. Fabricate parts to fit others....  Putting them together....  Put on some stain...   Wait for it to dry...   Put on some wax.  Now this is where it will go on the wall. Don't have the right mounting bolts, so I will just hold it up thre for y'all to see it.  Thanks for dropping in and I hope you enjoyed my new project. | ||||||

This is a story about a family giving their pet "Dukey" a warm and happy send off ,he had a tumor and they gave him a final day and put him down respectfully and he went happy. Check out this hottie!! Sleek lines,smooth and almost dare I say sensual in its almost bare touchability! Ohh I want that wood under my hands so bad!! That bench is a classic!! A Nicholson type bench with a slick sliding deadman and a leg vise that is to awesome!!!! NICE!  Antique and still useable! Very nice!Oh and I hear that the guy on it is named Zach something or other..... he knows a good bench for sure tho! | ||||||

Sunrise in Corpus Christi! Very peaceful and so pretty.  Then over to the right of that pic sits the USS Lexington. A retired carrier that served in WW2. Nicknamed the The Blue Ghost during the war for her tendency to reappear after apparently being destroyed. It demoralized the Japanese when they would see her still floating. Also she was used to film 3 movies. Midway and War and Remembrance as well as the 2001 movie Pearl Harbor! Happy 4th of July to all Americans out there!  | ||||||
