...oh yeah. woke up earlier, walked into the bathroom...and into a puddle of water! seems that the feed line to the toilet decided to spring a leak...happy happy, joy joy. 11:00 at night and the dogs are looking at me funny 'cause I'm outside shutting the water off at the meter box....but I fixed the leak!



bonus...the bathroom floor doesn't need mopping for a while ;p

November...time to update or change our benefits plan at work. We were informed this morning that the corporate HR rep and various local medical services would be on hand this afternoon to assist with insurance changes and questions. I've already done my updates online, but attendance was mandatory....so off I went. They have dozens of tables set up with displays from many local doctors offices; and they're giving away cheap free junk like ink pens, water bottles and can coozies...and THIS...

ok....who rearranged under the hood of my car? After I changed the oil in the girlfriends Explorer, I figured I'd change the oil in the Mustang. Always been able to get the front drain plug out with a 7/8" combination wrench...now the damn sway bar is in the way? Even better, the oil filter wrench hits the headers now...gotta loosen the filter from the top side of the motor, then reach under the car to spin it off.


...and whoever did it...ya could have at least greased the ball joints while you was there ;p

Next week....pull the transmission out of the pickup truck

figured the road crew dumped all the gravel yesterday in preparation for fresh pavement....NOT! get home, theres "road construction ahead" signs everywhere....just no road construction...no work crew....nothing but two lanes worth of loose gravel. even better, they scattered rock all over the shoulder of the road....that should work well when I mow.
I did manage to put the driving light back together...and it works!!! I had a set of protective covers for the lenses....of course I can't find 'em now. oh well, maybe they'll pave sometime soon and I can go ahead and repaint the damn car.
