... Russian Wolfhounds are escorting a bunch of furry puppies across a busy intersection in my town. Everything is good. All traffic has stopped and people are even smiling as they watch this heart-tugging migration. I'm on a bicycle on my way to work and I'm simply watching and smiling with everyone else.

But...

... the last Wolfhound is UGLY. It has dirty, greasy looking blonde fur. It turns and looks at me and starts to growl at me. I start to back up on my bike, looking for a way out of the situation.

And then...

I hear this low rumbling sound behind me. I turn and see a HUGE Bison is starting to paw the asphalt with it's hooves. It's tearing up the road, snorting and eyeing me with evil intent.

That's when (thank God!)...

I wake up.

I realize now that my frustrations of finding the right adapter for my new computer's HDMI port has been bothering me more than I realized.

Life goes on, but at times a little shakily.

You think it's going to be a fun session when your customer rep's name is Kaska.

Surprisingly, she (I think) was a great help.

Another shame on me moment.

Well, I had another computer crash on Friday.

I am now cured of the temptation to buy refurbished computers because they're cheap. This last one was my third and final. It only lasted one month.

Today, I bought a brand new HP computer. It is, to say the least, a very different computer to which I am familiar.

No more tower. The "brains" are hidden away inside the monitor.

I now have a built in camera and microphone.

And the monitor, keyboard and mouse are all white.

I only hooked it up an hour ago, so I'm still getting used to it.

So far, so good, but I anticipate having to clean all areas a bit more than I have in the past, when all were black.

We shall see.

After I broke up with the love of my life, I started to work for GM, which was ironic because we were (among other things, lol) fighting about my lack of money.

Suddenly, I had a LOT of money. I bought a new car, got my own place and proceeded to spend my idle time chasing women.

As I get older, I am enjoying life's little pleasures as much as the bigger pleasures. Sometimes even more.

Last night, I turned out the lights and climbed into bed.

Oh, that wonderful feeling of warmth from flannel sheets!

I almost felt like I had become enveloped in a wonderful cocoon of relaxing pleasure.

It didn't take long to drift away to Dreamland.

Yesssss.

I suppose it's a sign of the times. We want instant gratification. And when you order something online, you want it the next day.

Sometimes, depending on the delivery driver, things don't arrive on time.

A lot of people now get upset and throw a fit, mailing the site of purchase.

Although I do like the speed of delivery today, I don't get upset if I have to wait an extra day.

I know it was back in the dinosaur days, but shockingly we had to wait 10 days to 2 weeks for something we ordered... from a catalog.

You young whippersnappers have got it made, and you don't even know it.
