Laid-back, easy going guy until my passions are aroused. I've been here 3 other times... I keep trying to get it right, I guess. lol

It's been quite a while since I've seen a day like today: 82 degrees, low humidity, a light breeze and not one cloud in the sky. See ya later!

I listen to the Mother's at work talking about what Angels their children are. It reminds me of experiences I had growing up. All of the Mothers bragging about their children, who were straight "A" students, All Star athletes and who donated time to helping those less fortunate through church or civic programs. Always home on time and never a bit of trouble. I always thought that was so funny... I skipped school, drank and did drugs with those same kids. Some kids are really good at fooling their parents, I guess. My Dad was like me growing up... school was easy and he just wanted to have fun. He outgrew those devices and became a pillar of society. Me? It took a little longer. I'm no pillar, but I try to be good now. Most people outgrow those urges... it's simply a part of growing up. I take all of those comments now with a grain of salt. No child is perfect... we all rebel against something sometime. It's a part of becoming an adult. ~

Unfortunately, some of my generation were the parents who made their children feel entitled. I see people in their 50s sitting at break time at tables staring at their phones where I work. Cell phones ARE addicting! ~

Tweaked my back lifting weights yesterday. It's hard to sleep when your back won't untighten. Today I'm wearing a back brace and walking like an eighty year old man. Work tonight will be an adventure.

Monday, June 26, 2017, 12:10:38 AM- Oh... not for me
I was walking up the stairs from the basement laundry room Saturday. I hear intense knocking on th back door of my building. I look and see a little girl who's head barely comes up to the window. I start to walk to let her in or at least ask who she is looking for, when she shakes her head no hard and shoos me away with her hands. I turned to go when she once more starts knocking again. This time the door not three feet away opens and her Grandmother (I think) opens the door for her. She rather haughtily raises her head and walks by the lady and into her apartment. I'm glad she got inside where she wanted to go. I'm glad she was raised not to just talk to strangers (me). But with that attitude, I hope her knuckles are sore today. lol
