I will (for the time being) become a weekend warrior. Truthfully? I've lost a bit of my edge. My blogs used to be long and wordy, but now they've digressed into short, common meanderings.

The people who used to inspire me here are on hiatus (Tight_Wet_Lips and WhisperMyName)... just a nice way of saying "So long, sucker".

One still remains: MitchandDaisy. Thank you for all of the kind words!

A couple have been detractors, but I won't mention their names... they know who they are. Funny how someone can tell you you're wrong, even call you a liar, but when you post facts to back up what you're trying to say, they don't bother to either read them or comment that they were wrong.

That's all in the past and I have forgiven them. Why waste precious time on negativity?

So.. for now, I bid you adieu. My comments will be just on weekends.

Since I've given up sweets, I keep dreaming my old friends are dying.

Coincidence?

I figured I need to drop about 5 pounds, so I've cut out my late night sweets. It's working so far... I've dropped two pounds in the last three days.

Some people would think that a tall, thin guy like me doesn't need to lose weight. I know. I've got a little bump of a belly right now, but, after having back problems for the last 20 years, you wouldn't believe what just five pounds will do as far as putting stress and strain on my lower back.

Sweet, I'll miss you for a while, but the end result is worth not having you around.
