There is one bowl of chili, one bowl of turkey stew, one large slice of roast vegetable quiche, one large serving of onion rings, one bowl of onion soup and one slice of apple pie.
I am running out of dishes and I am not cooking another thing til its all gone!

I was catching up on some blogs I had missed using our handy little pop up and when I got to the 50 most recently updated blogs I went back to the regular list, for about 2 blogs. It doesn't make much sense but when I load blogs from the 200 popup they load faster. Anyone else notice that?

The logistics of doing a turkey dinner on your own are such that I decided to get the turkey done a lil early and get it carved so that when the time came to make the gravy mash the taters etc I would be at least a lil organized.
I did start out with a knife in one had and a fork in the other. That didnt last long, I then went for the 2 forks rip it apart approach. Before I knew it the utensils were gone and I was ripping it apart with my fingers.
Barely civilized but gonna enjoy it,

another 24 hours alone!! It has been 2 months since my last break. I took some pics earlier finally got a postable one Then took off with a friend to get the last of the stuff I need for Thanksgiving dinner. Happy Thanksgiving fellow canucks!!
I was going to just kick back and enjoy, but damn the beer is going down goooooooooood! So i am taking out hang over insurance and am making the stuffing and pie tonight. I will be cooking the turkey tomorrow so that the holiday Monday is just that a holiday. Gotta love leftovers (for the first few days anyway)
At some point this weekend I want to take the kids for a walk in the woods and hope to get some good fall colour pics.

being ahead of the game!! Tomorrows breakfast is made (just gotta pop em in the microwave for a min), lunches are made and as I sit here taking a break, a whole slew of carrot muffins for snacks are baking. If only I was always this organized.
