the kitchen is warm and so is the pie. Chilly rainy days always make me want to cook and today was no exception. I made a big pot of soup and a peach pie.

I am sorry to say has been rearing its ugly head again far too often in chat.
Someone get my soapbox Im gonna need it.
Once again I have been witness to the "pack" attacking someone new to chat. Sorry this isnt your livingroom, it is a chatroom, a public place if you like.
Many of you regulars ASSume that because someone new to the room makes a faux pas that it is ok for you to gang up on them and start a war. You ASSume that the mods will back you because you are regulars. ASSume no such thing, because reg, guest or whatever if you are being an ASS then you will get the boot, and if you chose to be part of the pack then you will join you pack members outside the door.
Remember you were once new too and if you have found chat fun and a great place to be then thank your lucky stars you didn't decide to try it when the pack was hungry.
I shouldn't have to remind a group of adults common courtesy but sadly I find myself having to do just that.

demolishing the bathroom. Wall paper ripped down, flooring ripped up, had a tough time getting one hook off the wall so I just ripped it right out Made a right royal mess I did. Today was spent cleaning and patching holes etc.
With any luck at all I can start painting tomorrow. I have no patience for renovating but love getting it started. After that its just work.
