Sunday, March 2, 2014, 9:41:09 PM- Still Lazy...
As a followup to a previous post of a cover of Deep Purple's Lazy by Joe Bonamassa, here is the real deal from 1985, right after the Mach 3 lineup reunited. The guys are on fire and it includes a pretty darned good drum solo. Blackmore has some fun with the intro...

Friday, February 28, 2014, 5:13:17 AM- A song about toast
This is really just proof of how easily I am entertained. A man on a radio program, singing a song about toast, while pounding on a toaster. I am truly weird.

A great tune. This is a version sung by Mama Cass. I just love this version,

Thursday, February 13, 2014, 3:42:11 AM- The great Sid Caesar...
Just a clip that shows the genius of Sid Caesar when faking a dialect. A tribute to celebrate his life and legacy. A true legend in television comedy who passed away today.

Thursday, January 30, 2014, 2:04:25 AM- The Carol Burnett Show...
This pair of outtakes from Carol Burnett's show, especially the second story, have made me cry with laughter. Even if you've never heard of or seen the show, this is really funny. You may never be able to see an elephant again without this coming to mind...

Tuesday, January 28, 2014, 3:21:02 AM- Peter Sellers
Alright, comedy night. The Pink Panther movies with Peter Sellers as Inspector Jacques Clouseau are some of my favorite comedies. Sellers was brilliant as the inspector and well known for his habit of picking some random word in some scenes and deliberately mispronouncing it to great effect. Here's a classic clip that still gets me each time I see it...

Monday, January 27, 2014, 3:54:53 AM- Wilson (Sears) Tower
Was in Chicago a couple of weeks ago and took a quick snapshot of the former Sears Tower. Not a great shot (Iphone), but I like the view. Chicago is quite a striking city. Lots of diverse architecture. You can see some older buildings mixed in here. When the weather starts behaving, gonna have to do some walking and photographing.

Saturday, January 25, 2014, 3:43:10 PM- Life...
A cousin of mine sent this to me. I am only just starting to realize the truth behind this presentation. I have focused on the cup for too long... Watch and you'll understand.

Monday, January 20, 2014, 3:05:07 AM- Joe Walsh
Recently bought Joe's last album, Analog Man. He hasn't missed a beat. A great album start to finish. This tune, India, is a little something different for him. Jeff Lynne producing the album has definitely had an influence on the sound.
