If I could change one thing about humanity...
I'd randomly select certain well-heeled, "comfortable" people and send them to spend a few months working a low-status, low pay job, with a heartless boss and maybe a demeaning uniform. The scut jobs will be provided by relieving the people doing them now. They, in turn, get to take over someone else's ostensibly easier life for those months. This program might help to straighten out some potential tyrants before they do any damage, which is why politicians and media pundits would be among my first choices for this treatment.
