I took my time getting out and about. It was the first day that my back felt normal, plus the spider bites aren't as huge and I don't have to wear the compression bandage. Sooooooo, I headed to the wharf. Now the wharf is only 5 minutes away and I usually walk there, but this time I drove and then walked around. What a gorgeous blue, sunny and bright day it was. I was lucky to get so many ocean wild life pictures and cannot possibly show them all now, so here are some of the ocean creatures I am so blessed to view anytime I want. I do know how lucky I am. I also know that one day, if luck permits. I can share this life with another.

There were thousands of Jelly Fish wandering the waters. It looked like the ocean was littered with orange puff cakes..lol


Then a seal appeared out of nowhere. Maybe he wanted some vogue time too.


As I sat there watching the seals swim in and out of the Jelly Fish, I felt a presence and then a seal barked. I looked down and all he wanted was attention too. So as soon as I took this pic, he jumped off the pier and swam away.


I walked to the other side of the Wharf to watch the seagulls attack the fishing boats. As soon as I sat down, a Pelican lumbered up and stood on a post right in front of me. Again, I wondered? For attention? I snapped the photo of the well poised bugger and guess what?


You got it! He did his best Tyra Banks pose and then flew away.


Who needs the Aquarium!! I have one right in my front yard! That was my quick one hour adventure for the day. But boy oh boy the wonderful ocean wildlife was what I needed. More to follow.

After the late night Intervention Call and today's Medi-Vac situation during a Ped vs. Car incident. I am tired.

My fridge doesn't have any bacon in it, but it does have some Baileys.
Time to snuggle on the couch and watch a moive. What would you like to watch with me?

I will miss him. He was the first member that I met here in 2004 and the very first one I talked to on the phone. He had a bold laugh and a kind heart. Even after I left, he called to check on me now and then over the 5 years I was gone.

Mont was the very first person to comment on my first post. He called me Darlin, told me that it was a good shot but to get a better webcam. How funny that has stuck with me.

In 2007, He clicked on my blog 11 times and commented 11 times to reach 100,000 in order to win a pic of his name on my body. The guy was fun to be around.

I was ready for bed when the phone rang. It was a person who needed help.

It seems people thought my chest was talking today, instead of my mouth.
It's okay. I look forward to seeing the culprits later and asking them, what it was that I said during the morning brief.....lol

While finishing my day of "taking it easy" about an hour ago I was lounging around the back yard. As I was reading, it appeared in my peripheral vision. A small deer. We stared at each other for the longest time. I'd like to think that he was enjoying our time together as much as I was.



Then when I was leaving, the cute lil bugger followed me.



I love this little town. I don't know of too many places in which you can walk across the street to the ocean and see otters, seals, pelicans and an occasional shark....yet still be in a mountainous area in where you are able to see woodland creatures.
