For the first time since the (embarrassing) fall in the shower, I am not using the cane. YAY!
I'm not ready to go for my long walks yet, so today I will still take it easy.

I will run one errand by going and ordering a piece of glass that I have been wanting for one of my tables. A while ago, I created the mosaic design on the top of this table. It was rather easy. I went to the thrift store and bought 20 plates of similar colors, then put them in a potato sack and smashed them with a hammer. Then glued each piece on the table and finished it with the color of putty that I wanted.
**heads up** wear gloves or learn a lesson of slicing the bajeeezurs out of your fingers!..lol. What a loon.

This oak table was purchased in the early 30's and has a history behind it. It was my former mom in laws. She got it from her former mom in law. When my mom in law had it, she changed the square oak top, to a rounded one. The original square top is still underneath. Then when it was given to me, I changed the oak top to a mosaic one. When I hand it down to my sons wife, she has said that the change she will make will be to stain it a darker color. The same table going from generation to generation but changing through time. I like that.

It can be any mask: Draw one on your face, Or wear one. Half of a mask or full face or buy one to wear. Any mask will do. Happy, Sad, Goofy, Super Hero, Fantasy, Cartoon, Erotic etc etc. You get the picture. Let's see your imagination and tease others with how you look under the mask. Hence "Uncover Me"

I was talking to a Captain today. He told me that he had broken up with a woman he had dated briefly. I asked him why and at first he didn't want to tell me. So after some thought, he came right out and told me that although he found her very nice and pleasant to be around, he didn't find her attractive. He thought I would find him shallow. I advised him that there is no shame in not finding someone attractive. That we all have our likes and dislikes. I mean, let's face it.... What I find attractive to some, might not be to others. He hadn't had sex with her yet, so it isn't like he "got the goods" and left her. He simply told her that he felt they were not compatible. That is a very clear reason. After our conversation he felt better.

I find no fault in another person if they don't find someone pretty or handsome. We all have to be comfortable and enjoy looking at the person we are with.

Some find Channing Tatum good looking. Me? Not so much...he is..Eh.
I find Javier Bardem and Christopher Walken, Atractive. Some may not.

I am not a "cup of tea" for everyone and I know that.

What is Attraction or Attractive?
That is all up to your heart, your eyes, your soul, your thoughts and your desires.
Their is no fault and no blame. Just a belief in who you want.

It's either a glorious testament to the creation of life — or way, way, way too much information. New mom Alicia Atkins was giving birth via Cesarean section when her still-unborn baby poked out a hand and grabbed a doctor's fingers. The baby's father, Randy Atkins, managed to avoid passing out and instead grabbed his camera, capturing the moment. Baby ***** (hidden to protect the child) now has something to remember for the rest of her life, and her parents have something super-special to show her boyfriends.

This is one of the most glorious pictures that I have ever seen. It brought tears to me eyes. I am in awe of how sweet the moment was for the doctor and the parents. My first reaction was tears, then had a thought about the joke "pull my finger" ......lol
