In the first city that I used to patrol, there were church women who would walk along the high prostitute area with signs they created "If you stop to talk to one of these prostitutes we will take down your license plate and give it to the police" It did work back then....lol. With people being so blatant now, I doubt if it works ....plus...how many people truly read the street signs?

But I like this sign so much more.

I went for my walk to the pier. Even on the hottest of days the aura is cool and it feels like you can touch the air. The wet wood and beams creates cool air, thick enough to breathe. The creepy vision as you peer through the beams, reminds me of a heavenly door leading to the ocean. The sun was high in the sky, but you couldn't tell by the shadows the pier was casting. I enjoy sitting under it because the sound of the waves echo off of the beams. This is one of the views I wanted for my White Wall creation.


When I was done with my cool vibe, I waddled up the rocks to a cove that leads to a beach. While sitting on the rocks, I noticed that the tide was coming in. I had to get out of there or be trapped surrounded by the ocean. I started along the rocks by an abandoned section of a fishery. I had to wait for the tide to roll out before I walked along the wall. I started carefully, but quickly walking along the boulders when all of a sudden!....the tide was rushing back at me! There was nothing I could do but brace my back against the wall......and laugh as the waves were heading towards me. I clung to the wall....lifted my arms and froze like a criminal getting stopped by the cops! FREEZE!! lol...I was soaked from the thighs down. God I love stuff like that! Once the tide rolled out, I proceeded to safety and slipped twisting my ankle. Good Times....Good Times.....lol.

I limped on home. Wet tennis shoes and jeans but still laughing. While walking through the back yard, I noticed that the apples are a week or two from being edible. Wild apples......you can't beat that. MMMmm raw from the tree or sliced with a little cinnamon maple seasoning and sauteed will be fantastic!

My mind is just buzzing with ideas and thoughts of creating a wall of white. There are so many pictures in my library to choose from, but I have this desire to take a certain set of pictures surrounding the shore line of Monterey. Each picture will be taken during various times of the morning, afternoon, evening and night. And each picture will be matted and framed in white. The idea for the wall came to fruition during my my evening walk at dusk as the fog was drifting in over the boats docked by the wharf. I am on a mission!

My youngest and his girlfriend miss seeing the ocean from their window, so I created the ocean view for them. I truly like the picture I snapped of the Carmel Beach Shore from my last adventure, so I put it in a window mat frame. I loved it so much that I am going to create a larger french window pain for myself. This way if I ever move, I can have the ocean view with me all of the time.


Much like I had asked Whokens for one of his pics, I had asked Guitar for one as well. This is the one I had chosen. I love the look of Windmills. The printer finished this one today. I was so excited to get it framed, that I ran to get the mat, cut it and then create the look I had in mind. I framed the picture all by itself in a crisp white mat, then suspended it in a floating frame. Tomorrow I will make the invisible stand so I can put it in my office on Monday.


I am like a kid at Christmas time...only in reverse! I love giving my creations as gifts.

During my life, I have been told that my optimism can be a bit wearing on the nerves. What do I say? "Oh Well" If someone gets impatient over the light I visualize in my life, then they can remain miserable in the dark. I don't live my life through rose colored glasses. I do cry and know about sadness, worry and trauma. Optimism is the easiest way to overcome it all. It isn't xxxxxx optimism....I come by it naturally because of my Dad. I prefer to stop and smell the roses everyday instead of being miserable. How horrible of me! I should be flogged immediately!

I have been up for about 24 hours. All for a good cause. Last night I had 3 calls in the middle of the night. When it is my time to take the calls, I don't consider it losing sleep. I consider it gaining strength and insight to human kind. So after a long bath and a nice phone call....I am off to bed.

But before I go, I send these to all of you.

At my age I may now need reading glasses! YAY! Do you know how long I have wanted glasses? Since I was a teenager. I think that they are sexy! That may sound silly to some, but it is the look of them, "the nerdy, I have my own style of appearance and geekdome" type of sexy. Everyone in my family wears them. Some of them have been wearing glasses since they were in grade school. Out of all of my sisters and brother, Mother, Dad, brothers in law, sister in law, 41+ nieces and nephews...I am the only one without glasses. It's okay to laugh at me. I know that I am a goofball.

I was chatting with another NNer and we were sharing stories of what our dogs have eaten over the years. There were at least 4 times in which I had to take a dog to the vet to have something removed from the throat or to have a tummy pumped. One little Beagle did the following at different times in her life: #1. Devoured 2 pounds of See's Candy. #2. Got half of a shoe lodged in her throat. #3. Chewed and had eaten entire wooden chair leg. At one time, my aussie swallowed 2 golf balls.

Now there have been more than these incidents in which the dogs I owned had eaten things. But these stick out in my mind. A few months back, Sister V's dog ate a cactus. The damn dog continued to eat it, even when the needles were causing so much pain. The NNer I was talking to, conveyed his story of a dog who had eaten an entire frozen chicken! Wrapper too!! I laughed so hard it made my jaw hurt.....lol.



Besides the usual chewing of furniture, golf balls, shoes and clothing: What have you needed to make an Emergency Vet visit for? Any tummy pumping? Surgical Removals? Fess up! You know that you have.....lol

A news station is in trouble for NOT confirming the flight crews real names and an intern is going to be fired for making up racist names as a joke. This was actually aired on live television. You cannot make this stuff up people!

Just in case the video gets pulled: The names that were made up to seem funny were: The Captain is; Sum Ting Wong and the Crew; Ho Lee Fuk, Wii To Lo and Bang Ding Ow.

The comments were:
**The reporter must be Sum Dum Ho.
**When the station gets slapped with a lawsuit, The Defendant is Mie Soo Yu.
**Rumor has it the judge will be the Honorable Yoo Gil Tee.
**They; forgot the stewardess, Lan Ding Gon Wong.
**She makes Ron Burgundy look like a genius.

I sent this to my nieces (who by the way are Japanese) and they laughed their asses off!
