We had a great time yesterday, the kids loved their prezzies and dinner with the whole family was as good as it always is!! We all laughed, cried and chatted all day and all night and it was fantastic!

I was working today but had to go back to my mums to pick up the car since I left it there yesterday. Since the kids are away today it was just dinner for me tonight and I hadn't decided what to have......but my mum sorted me out with the turkey legs and a whole lotta trimmings she had left over, so I have just stuffed my face again and enjoyed it all over again

Shopping done.....tidying up, nearly done......wrapping still to do.....one pot of soup nearly ready, one in the process still of being made.....

But most importantly of all.....the first drink for christmas has now been poured!!

Yayyy, now I can get into the Christmas spirit. I have finished work until Boxing day and now all I have to face is the shops tomorrow so I can get the rest of my shopping finished and then I can get down to seriously enjoying the little time off I have!!

In fact, does anybody fancy doing a few shopping errands for me tomorrrow??

.....was my day off, and I spent most of it looking at new jobs and applying for several of the better looking ones I spotted. Not that I have to right now, but I feel I may be better off doing so.

I haven't had that meeting yet (with the manager) but I have spoken to my staff and we have agreed that we will sit on how we feel until the New Year, and let the holiday season pass - what with folks on holiday and everything else, then see how things are before I go throwing the cat in amongst the pigeons!! Whether it is the right thing to do or not......we will soon see.

I spoke to my old manager, and she feels really bad for leaving me in this situation now. Not that it is her fault one little bit, but she used to work for the woman I now have to answer to - so she knows how I am feeling. Anyway, after speaking to her she said she will give me a glowing reference if I need it - and also said that if she coulda taken me with her she would have, so I suppose that is something.

Anyway, I am gonna pop into chat for a bit, then get my stuff together for tomorrow.....Have a good night xxxxx

Sometimes life goes really well and everything goes for you and other times things don't go so well and life aint so easy. I do believe life has a way of working things out so it is pretty much 50/50 in the end.

I have been through enough bad times and felt shit at the time and really paid the price for whatever bad things happened to me and mine!!

Now I just happen to be going through a time when things are landing in place......I am enjoying it, but at the same point I am wondering how long it will last or what price has to be paid....

When did I become so cynical??

I thought I was going to meet my maker tonight, while doing about 75 mph on the motorway tonight! I was driving along in a yukky drizzly rain after dropping a friend off for a work's night out when a car pulled in front of me. That wasn't the problem though....but because the car was so close in front of me I got a whole lot of yukky, dirty spray onto my windscreen. I tried to use my windscreen washer (which worked about 20 seconds earlier) and it decided to stop working and my visibility went from good to zero in a split second.

Not a problem usually, but when you are travelling at speed and suddenly you can't see - it really is quite a problem!!! So if you were stuck behind me driving at 30 mph down the motorway tonight then I do appologise but I really couldn't see fuck all!!!

The bitch phoned in sick today and the next 3 days.....grrrrrrr

Looks like I will have to call a staff meeting when I get back to work tomorrow, I have had 2 different members of my staff on the phone tonight complaining about the new manager.......FFS, I signed up for this job knowing I was working for a good manager and the company changed the game when appointing us this new manager......grrrrrrrr

She may be my manager, but she aint getting away with mucking us all about like this. It has been annoying me for a while, but now my staff are getting pissed with it too....time for stepping up (me thinks)

I remember the old days, when days off meant just that

I have lost a bit of weight lately, so am trying to be good when it comes to diet. Now, normally I do not even like chocolate and can take or leave it. But the last couple of days....OMG.....talk about cravings....I have just stuffed my face with almost as much chocolate as I could possibly fit in there......

WTF???? I don't even like the stuff, so why does it taste so God damnnn nice right now....(and nope, i aint pregnant, before some smart-ass suggests it..lol)
