My actual, real, legal name is 18; not Eighteen or anything like that. It is 18. Yes that is how I sign checks and it is on my driver's licence. Yes it is unusual. I am not a virgin. My name here is from song lyrics. I changed the number from 16 to 18 because of my name. I do not cam, give my email address, specific location. I do not give my phone number to anyone. No MSN, No YM, No Skype. That means I stay on NN period, no exceptions My taste runs toward the natural. For example I don't shave my body or drink alcohol or smoke. I believe being kind is very important in life. However, I also believe that being direct is necessary sometimes.

Sunday, July 29, 2012, 6:46:14 AM- Math and Me
I appreciate it when people send me emails or make comments in the chat room about my interest in math. I want to say that it is more of a hobby than anything else. I never studied math seriously and I wasn't even interested in it until about a year and a half ago. In addition, the interest has an emphasis on theological or even mystical mathematics rather than conventional things like equations. All this is to let you know I can't help you with your math homework

Saturday, July 7, 2012, 6:22:59 AM- Higgs Boson
Particles are not the best way to think about Higgs Boson. A far better way is to think of them as a field; at least at first. This field is a sort of quantum jelly that extends through space. If one starts there, it makes more sense. Next, just think of the Higgs Boson as super small billiard balls bouncing around in this jelly. This causes a ripple in the jelly, right? So next, think of Higgs Boson as the ripples. Obviously there is mathematical stuff to this, but to be honest, it is very difficult and I am still trying to figure it out.

My love number is 8. Look at it. It is never ending. It is eternal. What is your love number? Keep your fire burning. Don't let it go out. Ever!

Friday, June 29, 2012, 6:17:40 AM- Really?
Are that many people actually interested in math(s)? Most of my blogs are about that and I feel kind of sure people who come here know what to expect.

Wednesday, June 27, 2012, 5:59:41 AM- Mathematics and the Everyday World
Mathematics is the basic nature of the Universe in the sense that it connects to nature. The creation of the language we call mathematics needs to be in synchronization with the language of the physical world. A system to represent physical things, tables or chairs or flowers, is useful but not nearly as useful as mathematics because it is imprecise. Mathematics removes the ambiguity of reality and in so doing, is actually meta-physics. It has being and is as close as we can come to ultimate reality -- God.

Saturday, June 23, 2012, 5:38:52 AM- Thinking Cardano
It is Gerolamo Cardano that is on my mind. Not just his algebra, which is fairly mind blogging. But the staggering thing about him is who he was - I mean like his essence, which was kind of a bastard in both senses. He was chronically poor even though he was a doctor. This movtivated him to develop a significant probably theory enabling him gamble better. He hung out with guys like Leonardo -- the real one! His eldest son was executed for murdering his cuckholding wife, proving, once again, the value of NN. And there is more. Yeah, mathematics is cool.

Totally cool -- the base 60 number system of the Ancient Babylonians. Guess what survives it to this very day? Yep. You're right. Seconds and minutes of our time keeping.

Sunday, February 26, 2012, 8:56:16 AM- “Chaos is the score upon which reality is written.” Henry Miller
Simply put, there are no dichotomies in life. Nothing is inevitability true. We don't FIND ourselves anywhere, we go there and usually have no idea where that is. Five blind men do not feel an elephant. One does and reports to the others. The report is totally subjective and whether it is accepted is completely arbitrary. There is not one human language. There are many. They are as limited as the infinite which is clearly unknowable without faith. Ask the lady who spoke in tongues at Solomon Burke's funeral. Be careful when you ask though. Therefore, David Hume and John Locke are dead. So is Nietzsche, God said so.

Wednesday, February 22, 2012, 8:31:40 AM- Chaos and Art
Without a living blossom or the sound of a musical instrument, our actual number system intrinsically contains the objects of our observations of the natural environment and beyond and is capable of reproducing phenomena in all of its complexity. How did this come about? Are we observing an objective reality or are we projecting our own sense organs and perceptual experience onto our world?

In the end, deduction without assumptions is impossible. Assumptions are the cause of many of the mistakes in the world.
