that has been a rather quiet week... until 1 hr ago. but well, you cant have everything and i think i already solved it.

i am trough with the london trips... which is a good thing. i cant stand it. who on earth (beside my students) can spend 9hrs with shopping? i for sure can not... i went to starbucks for an hour, to a pub for some time and to a wine bar to kill of time... and drink something (even english beer tastes great when you think of your students... who can not drink one drop without being sent home... schadenfreude lol.

while in london i also killed time by looking for adam bleytou(s butt) did not see him/it ... dont get me wrong, there were some nice ones, but well, nothing close to his. if you cant look at pics here, you have to get the real thing lol.

the internetcafe at the moment is beautifully empty and i have a seat in the very corner... if i still have a bit of time left i might even have a look in the forum (doubt that, but it makes me write faster )

edit: you feel kind of weird when you put your arm *casually* over the left side of the screen so that your neighbour does not see the sexy avatar pics.

Wohoo... I have not had a single emergency call within the last... 27hrs!! that makes life SO much easier. I am sleeping like crap, somehow my subconciousness (sp?) does not want me to sleep too deep... so i wont miss any calls. that is fine for a day or two, but i am not 18 any more and i really start to notice it.

other than that, the job should be a bit more quiet from now on (at least till end of july).

trucks: i have not (yet??) told my boss to "screw work" but i have phantasized about kicking him off the pier (while wrapped up really really well)

friday will be interesting... i should be meeting one of nn s members (add the little thingy after nn... i am not too good with english keyboards.)

btw... didnt i say something like: none of you is allowed to leave? What I mean is that I just checked the goodbyes (there was something like a quiet minute at the internet cafe) and what do i have to see??? a lot of goodbyes from/about great members. that is just not fair!! ok, another rule: you are allowed to leave, BUT you have to be back by august 25th. Ok? i mean that is a fair deal, dont you think so too???

my bags are already more or less unpacked now and my parents wonder how much essential stuff i own (they wonder about this every year. they even got to wonder twice this year since all my brother's stuff is here too)

did the shopping today. i have all those little things you need when going somewhere for seven weeks now. and i can tell you, little things add up to a big bag.

next thing to do tomorrow is to remove all the stickers from Jordan,... from the suitcase I borrow cause I think if I leave them on immigration will take quite a bit longer.

tomorrow evening will be fun. we are celebrating my b-day a tiny bit ahead of time since i will not be home then. presents, come to me lol. there will be no real surprises. i will get the swatch I (yes, I) bought today (the clockmaker announced death of my old one today, 2:13pm). other than that there will be cake (yummy) and a glass of sparkling wine. nothing else, nothing to learn, nothing to study, nothing to learn by heart, nothing to understand... still not quite used to not having an exam the other day.

pretty much off to bed now. have a nice end of july 4th those in the states. the others, have a nice day/evening/night/morning.

My flat now looks worse than ever before. In one corner there are my bags, in the other corner there are piles of trash and in yet another one there are things I do not know where to move to. In the middle of it there is me and my vacuum cleaner. (I have never before looked so tiny )
Off to getting rid of the trash now, lucky for me the big trashbin was emptied today, I might have had a problem otherwise.

Then I am going to call it a day for now. Still got tomorrow to finish up the rest. I could bring my bags down to my car now, but since it is sitting in the sun all day long I do not think this would be a really good idea.

Officially semester is over. But I have two more finals tomorrow, but I do have way too much "HOLIDAY!!!" feeling inside me to really get myself to study... and the bad thing is I cant really see anything bad about it.

Then almost 2 month working, one month real holiday and then three more finals (ok, two of them are pretty much "show up, say your name, say anything about the subject and leave"-finals, but one is going to be a killer.)

Right now I have like a million things on my mind. What do I need for the UK? What do I need for the US? Do I still have to buy stuff? I have to leave my flat in prime-condition since a friend of mine will move in over the summer (and pay my rent ). Where do I put my toys? Will 50 minutes be enough to say goodbye to Mr. Benefits (in a non-sexual way)? (We already compared our timetables, and more is not possible since my parents still want to see me before I leave (and celebrate my b-day )). Will I get the chance to get a bit of sleep? Will I be able to meet a certain member when in the UK? Is it a good thing I am staying in Southern Cali?....

So many things on my mind... and only one head

Oh boy. Back at my parents' for the weekend and I get the impression that I was gone to long. No, my parents did not say anything. No, my dog still knows me. But: there are ants in my room. Not just one or two, no, a whole big clan moved it while I was gone. And they now seem to be everywhere. They are on/in the laptop (but I guess high-pressure air will set them all flying away) and whats the worst: they are in my bed. When I went to bed yesterday I was really exhausted and did not notice them but today they woke me up, and that is not a good way to be woken, I can tell you.
I am off now, looking for a natural method to get rid of them since I do not really want to use anything chemical in my bed.

I even have a discussion with myself at the moment if I should go for a walk... during the bad thunderstorm and hail that occurs here at the moment. I love thunderstorms. I am not too much a fan of hail, but well, you cant always get everything you want. I could not go during the rainfall yesterday, but boy... I am really tempted at the moment.
Catching a cold would not be great but relaxing a bit in the rain would be awesome. And yes, I know, I do have weird hobbies
