We just got home from vacation. Spent three days laying swimming and floating in a pool with a drink in my hand.

Last night we set off about a thousand dollars worth of fireworks, LOL. When forty people chip in you can buy a lot of boomers.

Now I'm sitting here looking out my front window and enjoying the ones the neighbors are firing off. Off on the horizon I can see the city's firework display.

All is right with the world at the moment.

but not quite. We're heading home tomorrow. We were going to stay another day but some things back home have made us cut the trip short a day. No big deal but we feel like we need to be home a day sooner than we planned.

It's been a blast, and I've got a nasty sunburn. The family has been calling me "lobster", LOL.

So we're packing up in the morning, going for one more dip or two, and heading out around noon.

I'm still of work until Sunday, so I'll get some stuff done around the house....maybe.

Well, we made it safe and sound. The traffic around Indianapolis wasn't too bad and we made good time. I've popped a few tops, hit the pool, and now my wife and I are waiting for the others to go to bed so we can have a little us time in the hot tub.

Tomorrow's going to be a scorcher they say, so we'll probably spend most our time in the pool. It's going to suck.

I was checking out some funny pic sights last night and ran across this picture. My son, who was in the room, saw it and started laughing. My wife wanted to know what was so funny so I showed it to her at which point she says "Who is that girl."

Before I could answer our 14 year old son says "That's Sasha Grey, she's a porn star Mom." Of course, the room got real quiet and then we (my wife and I) asked "How did you know that?"

The look on his face was priceless. LMAO Of course, he had no answer.


So, where did I fail as a parent? I must have done something wrong along the way. (

I left work at 1:35pm yesterday and they said when I came in this morning the power came back on at 2:05pm. LMAO

I got to work an hour early, figuring I was walking into a cluster fuck, so that I could get my area squared away.

I was right, it was a cluster. But we got through it. We're almost caught up, and hopefully will be by the end of day shift on Thursday. (Of course, I'll be on vacation by then HEHE!)

I worked a little late too, so I'm a bit tired. But only one more day and I have a week and a half off so it's not to bad.

The storm that took out the power line was a bad one. Several towns in the area have heavy damage. It wasn't a tornado although the damage looks like it was. The national weather service says there were straight line winds in excess of 75mph and "micro bursts" that can reach speeds of nearly 170mph.

One of the guys I work with has a family member whose house trailer was blown off the foundation blocks. The trailer was undamaged, just moved over ten feet and set down in the yard. Yes, he was in the trailer when it happened. No, I don't know if he needed a change of pants. LOL I would have.

Another coworker said there is a swath cut through the timber near his house forty feet wide where all the trees were knocked flat.

There are trees on houses, cars, garages, in the streets...everywhere. A buddy's brother owns a tree trimming service and he's making money so fast it should be a crime. LOL

I think Kricket's right, Mother Nature has it in for Illinois for some reason.

Of course, that was because the power was out. Major storms here overnight, with straight line winds in the 75-80mph range, took down trees and power lines all over. The main transmission line into the town where I work is down, and has been since 1:30am last night.

So from 630AM until 130pm, when they finally decided to send us home, I sat around and played cards. LMAO.

Also, where I work it's all about the flow of product, therefore it's going to be a cluster f@#K tomorrow.

We were supposed to unload 80,000 cases today, as well as pick and ship nearly 20,000 cases. Tomorrow we were scheduled to unload 30,000 cases and ship 70,000.

As you can see to get caught back up, even if they get the power restored by tomorrow, is going to be a nightmare. I'm just glad I'm going on vacation later this week.

Today is my birthday and my wife, the loving angel that she is, made my favorite meal (meatloaf) and my favorite cake (german chocolate) for me while I was at work (with assistance from our son).

When I got home from work she took me into the bedroom and gave me a VERY enjoyable blowjob, and then we had supper.

She's laying beside me watching TV and just told me it's time for the rest of my birthday present, so I'll catch you all later.
