Shower time feels so good!

So I was thinking what kind of mask I should get for this blog challenge. I couldn't find one I liked at all. And so I thought hmmmmmmm what should a woodworker and a woodcarver do in situation like this? So I said, I'll carve a mask out of Wood!!

And so I did! This mask is carved from Basswood with a 1/4 dowel glued in for the handle. Painted with acrylic paint for decoration and regular old spray paint as it's base. And now I have a cool wall decoration as well!!!

This was alot of fun and gave me a good excuse to make something in my shop!!! woohooo!!! I know everyone is going to have fun with this challenge and Thank You Tight Wet Lips for making this a part of the experience!!!

Took a picture of this very very tiny hummingbird not long ago. This is the smallest one I have ever seen! About half the size of my thumb!!
