Peanut Butter Cookies: Combine 1 cup of peanut butter 1 cup of sugar 1 egg No flour! Mix well, then spoon onto greased pan, flattening with a fork. Sprinkle with salt. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool and enjoy! | ||

In high school I lived on coffee, Cokes and cigarettes, saving my lunch money for other things I wanted to buy. At age 19, I started to get severe heartburn (which at first I thought might be some kind of heart problem) every time I had one cup of joe or one coke. So I gave them up, only drinking caffeine free coffee and Sprite or 7 Up. Lately, I've been thinking about changing my daily routine of a 16 oz. mug of decaf in the morning to tea. I like the taste of tea. For some odd reason, my body can handle the caffeine in tea. I have concluded that there's something else in a regular cup of coffee or a coke that causes my severe heartburn. So I may switch. I do kind of miss that caffeine jolt in the morning. Life is kinda weird sometimes in directing our choices. ~ | ||

Love Sloppy Joe's? Ingredients: 1 lb. ground beef 1/8 cup brown sugar 1/8 cup mustard 1/2 cup ketchup hamburger buns (or bread) Instructions: brown ground beef in skillet, then drain add brown sugar, mustard and ketchup. Stir to combine. allow to simmer on low for about 5 minutes. serve on buns (or bread) with your favorite sides. Enjoy! | ||
