Shower knob broken (not by me) while being fixed (it was sticking). Two days later (still waiting for plumber to come back) and I am using vice clamps to turn water off and on.

Two old friends passed away Sunday.

... on my leasing agent to bring my lease by to sign. Almost an hour late. She must be on Central, not Eastern time.

I like nothing better than to spend 15 minutes to a half an hour composing a highly complimentary message to a beautiful woman who has enriched my perception of the female form, and then (rudely) have it wind up ignored.

I'm not saying I'm in love with you, only that, for the moment, you have inspired me to gentle prose. A simple thank you (or the initials ty, lol) would suffice... to let me know that you have enjoyed the moment as well.

But, as is usual in my life, I have become used to being ignored. I'm not great looking, or well hung, or rich... but I am a nice guy. Who can't get enough of real praise?

Yes, I know one of the main reasons women post pictures here is to be noticed. I'm just trying to make them feel better about themselves.

Is that a crime?

In real life outside the internet, I give compliments to women all the time. Some women, who are not full of themselves, take it for what it is and say thank you. Some, who have issues with their egos, think I'm hitting on them. Whenever I see those reactions of self interest, I generally don't give them any more compliments, but try to limit my conversations with them in the future to just being polite.

It's tough being a guy with old fashioned standards living in the 21st century.

Last night after work, my back pain went away enough to allow me some much needed sleep.

I suppose the 3 shots and a beer had something to do with that.

My back has been "out" all week. I can barely sit or lie down, but I've made it to work all week long without complaining... I even take the time to visit NN daily, leaving nice comments and a few lines in my blog.

Devotion should be my middle name!

I see beauty everywhere I go. I stop and gaze in wonder often. People ask me what I'm looking at, and I simply reply... magnificence.

Stop and smell the roses today.
