Well, obviously not serious unless it's seriously demented and that's good enough for me.

Sunday, October 2, 2005, 4:02:59 AM- Where do I start?
I've seen so many things since I've been gone. Life moves on in it's leisurely roll each day..new things stride toward you and then fade away like the whistle on a passing train. I've missed some awesome picture opportunities in the past couple of weeks. Illinois is taking on her fall harvest vestments and the air cools enough at night to make your breath billow out before you in great, whispy clouds. Warmer days and cool nights means wet, heavy fogs some mornings. I was coming home through the country and for the first time in a long time, I saw nature putting on her pearls. The moisture from the fog had left droplets on the spiderwebs along the road. There were hundreds of them, all sparkling in the eastern sunrise, as if mother nature had given a gift to the industrious spiders by jeweling their handiwork. Lovely. The harvest is underway, the plumes of bean dust rising up from the fields, the swathes cut by the combines leaving bare ground where golden stalks once stood. The sound of wind rustling the dry, brown cornplants brings to mind the sound of a stiffly starched skirt brushing against a wooden floor. The moon dons it's festive orange and shines brighter and larger than ever while the stars twinkle like diamonds in endless competition. Yes, I love the fall...couldn't have guessed...huh..lmao I hope she doesn't mind, but i've earned the nickname..little perv around here. I like it when she calls me that because it's said in an affectionate way. I'll be her little perv as long as she'll have me. Finally...I have a broken big toe. Broken in a way, they can't do anything but let it heal on it's own. It took 3 days for the swelling to start going down and the pain to abate and then my grandson decided to make a running leap onto it. Back to square one, I guess. Just have to manage the owwie for 6 weeks until it heals. Damn, wish they would have given me something for the pain....I wanna be like Pink Floyd....comfortably numb! Peace and Love to you all....
