Odd yet delightfully intriguing. Morbid yet very very sweet. Sarcasm is part of who I am.....deal with it.

Monday, June 10, 2013, 8:00:28 PM- Lunch Time Relaxation
This is where I spent my lunch hour. Sit me with and watch the waves as we eat enjoy our food. There isn't a need for a radio to keep us entertained. The sounds of the waves, seagulls and the seals are music to the ears. Have a cheese sammich, some chips, iced tea and good conversation. That makes a perfect hour.

Sunday, June 9, 2013, 1:54:34 AM- I finally caught up on my sleep and took advantage of the sunny day.
What did I do today? *I drove all the way out to Santa Cruz to try on the dress at the Vintage Shop....and it didn't fit. Darn my boobs!! Oh well, I will keep looking. *For fun, I took some pics to post. *Walked around town window shopping. *Flirted with a tourist as I licked an ice cream cone. He started it first...I swear! *Bought a homeless man some lunch. *Baked some biscuits for my breakfast tomorrow. *Was told to get my fat ass out of the way of some lady who was reaching for some candles at Pier 1. The funny thing about her was that she looked to be about 90 years old. I couldn't help but giggle. Now it is time to make dinner, call my boys and answer some text messages. Ok, look into my eyes and tell me what you did today.

Saturday, June 8, 2013, 4:54:31 PM- Texts, emails and a phone call from Sister M
First, she sent me 6 pages of full text screens. Then she sent me an email describing what she had sent me in the texts. After the texts and email, she called. What was so important? She was describing the new auto store that had opened up around the corner. M was thrilled that the store was so close and easily accessible. When I read the texts and the emails I laughed because M does not have a car and hasn't owned one in over 30 years. Seriously! The woman walks, uses her bike, takes the train or rides the bus...lol. When she called, I asked her about this very important detail. M said that she liked the wide variety of air fresheners and bought 15 of the coconut lime scented ones. When I reach the age of 63, I wonder what will send me over the edge with excitement?

I just completed the inspections around the facility to see if every office posted the up to date memorandums and policies to assist with fighting / preventing Sexual Harassment. Now, here I am perving plus ogling all of the naked men & women and then writing suggestive messages under their pics....lol. I find that to be irony in its finest glory!

Thursday, June 6, 2013, 8:04:17 PM- D-Day
The Battle of Normandy lasted from June to August 1944. The result was the Allied liberation of Western Europe from Nazi Germany. The Code Name was Operation Overlord, the battle began on June 6, also known as D-Day. The attack on the shores consisted of more than 150,000 American, British and Canadian forces landing on five beaches along a 50-mile stretch of the heavily guarded coast of France. The invasion was one of the largest amphibious military assaults in history. Before D-Day was even conducted there had to be a plan put into place in order to deceive the Germans about the invasion and target. Obviously the plan worked out well, because in late August 1944, France had been liberated. Then by Spring the Allies had defeated the Germans. The Battle at Normandy was the beginning of the end of the war In Europe. There were thousands of wounded and thousands of deaths from all of the Allied Units. Death for freedom. All of them were brave souls. I am very disappointed that honoring these days aren't as prominent in the news or shown as respectful as they used to be. History lessons just aren't the same as when I was in school. God Bless the multiple military services from other countries and God Bless my own military. I am the daughter of a military father, so memorials and remembering our military is how I was raised.

Thursday, June 6, 2013, 5:43:53 AM- Flashback.
Country Singer David Ball once wrote: "When the thought of you catches up with me" Simple, uneventful memories wash over us at the silliest of times. It doesn't matter how great a moment was or how small the moment may have been. I was getting a drink of water before bed and smiled. I thought of the last time I saw my Great Gram and Gram. I was about 10 yrs old. They showed me a partially filled glass of water. I was asked if the glass was half empty or half full. I was confused and like most 10 yr old kids would do, I shrugged my shoulders. They said being half full or half empty didn't matter and that I should just be happy to have something to drink. That wasn't my first lesson in optimism and being grateful for what I have, but it sure is one that pops into my head and creates a big grin. Words ring true because now and then, the thought of them and that memory catches up with me.

Wednesday, June 5, 2013, 6:49:54 PM- Evidently, I am a snitch and a bitch.
While buying lunch at my favorite Mom & Pop Store, I saw a well dressed man carrying a basket with food items in it. He didn't see me, but I saw him put 4 large packets of batteries in his jacket pocket. I informed another employee what had happened. After he did that, he walked to the register and paid for all of the items, except the batteries. They stopped him outside and instead of calling the police, they took back the batteries and told him to never return to their store. What is funny is that another woman was off to the side and heard me tell the employee about the man. When I paid for my food, the lady who heard me talking to the employee, was waiting for me outside. She called me a snitchy bitch. I thought that the owners were rather nice not to call the police and have him arrested. What would you have done? The batteries were $12.00 a packet. But I don't think price matters. Theft is theft and it trickles down to the consumer.

Michael Douglas wishes he bit his tongue on oral sex cancer claim [Source] Trending; msnNOW.com: 16 hrs ago Yesterday, Michael Douglas told the world his tongue cancer was caused by cunnilingus. But after sexual health experts said Douglas's taste for cigarettes and alcohol was more likely to blame, a spokesman for the star claimed Douglas NEVER said his cancer was oral sex-related. But The Guardian has him licked — they posted an audio file of their interview with Douglas in which he clearly states: "This particular cancer is caused by something called HPV, which actually comes about from cunnilingus." Regardless, the take-home message is this: If you're planning on performing oral sex, don't smoke and drink while you do it. Apart from anything else, it could lead to spillage and unpleasant burns. Ouch! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wonder if he had to sleep on the couch? I mean he insulted his wife's pussy in front of the world. Men, that is a Big Fat No No! Talk about putting his foot in his mouth!

Tuesday, June 4, 2013, 4:48:57 AM- Weird...........I know.
Before I go to bed, I can read Serial Killer books and am reading about Randy Kraft right now, but I can't look at a dangling loose tooth. Show me a dismembered body and I am fine, yet a moldy apple grosses me out. I can scratch my nails across a chalkboard and not have a care in the world...ironically I cannot listen to Styrofoam rubbing together. Even though I have had a few spider bites that have left scars on my body, I still find them appealing and they intrigue me. Here is the kicker.....lol...a harmless June Bug with it's squeeky noise and legs totally freaks me out! Just a few weird facts about silly me.
