It's hard to believe that Friday is almost here already. This week has flown by for me. I have barely set the house straight and laundered last weekends clothes etc and now I am packing them again as they are coming out of the dryer. I think I liked it better last summer when I was off work and had all week to do this stuff.

On a weird note...I have something funky going on with my left foot. On the arch there is a lump and it seems to be getting larger by the day. I cannot stand anyone even touching my feet so the thought of having a dr. look at it is really weirding me out. Its quite tender and causes me to walk funny cause it hurts to put pressure on it. I guess I will wait a few days and see what transpires. The good news is....its not my driving foot...so life is still good!!

/me toasting lunch with a smirnoff ice.....only because I have nothing else in the house to drink and I am thirsty. Guess I should consider doing groceries before we leave LOL

......and no I don't mean our resident NN sweetheart "juicy" I mean "juicy couture"!! It even sounds pretentious doesn't it?

I took my daughter (the oldest) shopping today. We needed to buy her a rash guard. Bootz and the rest of the wave riders will know what this is. I thought at first that it sounded like something you applied to prevent STD's but alas....it is not. Seems she is going to a water park this week with her school. The kids were told they needed to wear appropriate swimwear ie) no bikini's. Well my daugher doesn't own a 1 pc bathing suit so we agreed that she could wear a rash guard on top and bikini bottoms. Great idea - right? Wrong. She takes me off to this sports store where nothing in the freakin place is under a hundred dollars. Roxy, Billabong, O'Neil and then she introduces me to "Juicy". "Juicy Couture" - you can have a tank top for $155....a bag for $300.....sunglasses for $500 and up....I was like OMG....get me out of this place. Clothing for rich kids I guess....only I think she forgot.....we aren't rich. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy the finer things in life and I am fortunate enough to have been somewhat spoiled but honestly I don't remember the last time I spent that kind of coin on clothing for myself - let alone her!!

TG........wondering what ever happened to shopping for kids at good ole Walmart - I am sure I could have bought a one pc for $20 but instead I got roped into a Billabong rash guard and a Roxy T-shirt.....sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

I just wanted to take a minute to wish those far and near a wonderful weekend. For those dad's celebrating Father's Day on Sunday.....I send my happiest wishes.

I am on my way to the lake to celebrate with my dad. The weather is looking terrific so I might even come home with some bikini lines *winks*.

I am tired (exhausted actually) but the outcome was good. I sold most everything and a good lot of what didn't go is going to the local thrift shop so its not coming back in the house even. I made $352.30 so the kids and I jetted off to buy a dual screen DVD player for the truck. I can almost hear the silence (I got 3 sets of headphones too....1 for each on them *giggles).

Off to soak my aching feet and tired body and then its going to be a night to relax and off to bed early. Not all of us are ok with getting up at 5 am (**cough** - valleybud). Mind you.....if I had something good to wake up to that would be whole different story.

Well I am peeking through my heavy eye lids....I am up at the most uncivilized hour to get ready for my yard sale. Those crazy buggers are out cruising by 6 am. So here I am up at 5 (OMFG!!)

On a much brighter note I have the prettiest truck in my drive way. I signed my life away so she's all mine. Was out briefly last night and I must say I think some of the local fellas have truck envy......and to a GIRL - LMAO.....bet that one cuts deep!!!

......my blessings this morning. This week I have had an outpouring of support and "special stuff" from my NN friends. I will be more specific when time permits but for now you know who you are and I send you biggest kisses and thank you's.

Since I am counting it just wouldn't be fair not to count the days either.........4 more days till I get my new vehicle yeahhhhhhhhhhh!!! I know I am just like a big kid!!

This weekend I was planning my yard sale. The weather is not looking great and I have just been too busy to get my stuff all together so I am putting it on hold till June 17th. Next weekend is the cottage and the weekend after I will tackle it!! I simply have toooooooooo much on the go right now.
