its kinda fuzzy/blurry.....and no, not just the cat.....but I like it anyways....its a moment captured in time. These two are best of friends. Taken the day I brought the tree home.

Just when it felt like it was never going to arrive its here.......happy HUMP day everyone !!!

......I have been so obsessively busy reading and commenting on blogs that I haven't been perving!!

Gonna catch up on that today...will start with my favs and then see if I can add to my list. Anybody seen any good posts.....direct me....*giggles*!!

My oldest daughter has a very similar personality to myself. Very passive and lets things just roll right off of her. The only difference being I have had to be much MUCH stronger now that I am standing alone. I still let most things that effect me personally roll off without incident (normally) BUT.....when it comes to my kids...BEWARE!!

My daughter plays mixed hockey. There are 3 girls on her team. I can safely say she is the strongest of the 3 girls and she holds her own with the boys. The only exception being.....she won't hit. I found out last weekend though that her biggest battle has been taking place off the ice....in the dressing room to be exact. It seems that one of the other girls has been really harassing her. Now I think that in a sport dominated by men....the girls should be sticking together and not fighting with one another - correct?? Well this little #$*($%*% (aka not nice girl) is locking my daughter out of the girls dressing room, making my daughter pass her all her equipment while she sits on her duff, she tells her she has no friends etc etc....just down right nasty stuff.

Today I get a call from this girls mom.....now keep in mind I am pumped already over this. The mom tells me that she has a funeral to go today and can I take her daughter for the day and take her to the game.........and what did I say........YES and I am ashamed of myself ever since!!! I should have said no and told her why......but instead trying to be accomodating for the mom I let my own child down.

I am fairly busy so I often don't take the time to read all of the jokes that are sent to me via e-mail...let alone share them. This one really made me laugh though so I thought you might enjoy it also......

A man, while playing on the front nine of a complicated golf course,became confused as to where he was on the course. Looking around, he saw a lady playing ahead of him. He walked up to her, explained his confusion and asked her if she knew what hole he was playing.

She replied, "I'm on the 7th hole and you are a hole behind me, so you must be on the 6th hole." He thanked her and went back to his golf.

On the back nine the same thing happened and he approached her again with the same request. She said, "I'm on the 14th hole; you are a hole behind me, so you must be on the 13th hole." Once
again he thanked her and returned to his play.

He finished his round and went to the clubhouse where he saw the same lady sitting at the end of the bar. He asked the bartender if he knew the lady. The bartender said that she was a saleslady and played the course often.

He approached her and said, "Let me buy you a drink in appreciation for your help. I understand that you are in the sales profession. I'm in sales, also. What do you sell?"

She replied, "If I tell you, you'll laugh."

" No, I won't."

"Well, if you must know," she answered, "I work for Tampax."

With that, he laughed so hard he almost lost his breath.

She said, "See I knew you would laugh."

"That's not what I'm laughing at," he replied. "I'm a salesman for Preparation H, so I'm still a hole behind you!"

We have all heard the expression "dance like nobody is watching" - here is "run like nobody is watching" (boxer style)....



There is never a dull moment with a boxer. I have heard and have read in many dog books that having a boxer is like having a puppy for life. They are so comedic and energic and loving. I can't imagine how I ever lived prior to her.....she has brought so much joy and so many laughs to my already crazy house.

And as if she is not cute......check out her offspring......now is this a face that only a mother can love or what?? Its unedited so don't mind the blotchy eyes. What a head......and its not full of brains either......the words "dumb as a stump" come to mind LOL but what a sweetie. This pic is taken on the edge of the bathtub while I was in it....thought for a bit that I might have company.

I have been envious of everyone sharing the most beautiful pics in their blogs and I have been unable to do it. MissP helped me out today and I thank her for that.

......yes I am kind of hooked on reading blogs. I log on several times a day and read all the updates. Like many, I don't always comment (I often don't have time). If something touches me enough I go back when I have time and leave my 2 cents.

Anyways....lately its come to my attention that a few of the nn'ers that hold a spot in my heart (as friends) are feeling a bit down in the dumps for various reasons. I would blame it on the February blahhhhhs but its only just January.

The purpose of this blog entry is to simply extend my arms and hug all those that need one. I know if the shoe were on the other foot (and it has been) you would do the same for me.
