It seems I am interesting enough to hold my kids interest enough to discuss random subjects 'most' of the time.

What made me laugh tonight at 2 seperate occasions was with kid no. 1, holding a discussion about her day today and I totally lost her to a well know car insurance advert - one that she has probably seen about 10,000 times so far. So after having a joking shot at her about it and moving on to a discussion with kid no.2 a few seconds later and the same thing happening with an advert about poly bags this time - I continued talking on to myself and it was about a minute and a half later till I got either one of them back!!

Some things never change though. When they were younger I had a video made up of TV adverts, just incase I wanted to get something done in the house....

Why is it that TV adverts grab kids attention so much - even the ones that aint aimed at kids???

I don't know, but it is kinda funny to watch!!

After a slow start I am up and running on full speed now!!

I got so much done yesterday - I think the weather helped loads....I had all the windows wide open and got as much sunshine and fresh air as possible.

Which meant today was a study day. I started at about 9:30 this morning and apart from a half hour lunch break I took I have had my head in books all day.

All in all, I feel much better now in OOHHHHHHH soooo many ways

I had so many big plans for today (official day 1 of my hols)


Well as uaual things didn't go to plan. I did manage a couple of hours study time.....but that was about all I got done though. After 2 hours of solid studying my eyes felt really heavy...lol

So I had a lie down and somehow managed to sleep for 3 hours solid and didn't hear a thing till the youngest got in from school.

Maybe tomorrow I will get the rest of the stuff started

Remember I had the 2 dogs for a while? Well, I was to keep the new dog for a while then he was going to go to somebody else.....2 dogs really are way too much for this pokey little flat, well to be honest the big dog on his own is really too much but ya know what I mean!

Anyway, last week I took him down to meet his new owner a couple of times and they seemed to get on great and doggie loved his new garden.

That was last week though, it seems doggie has become quite attached to us and has not eaten since he moved in, has taken to jumping a 6' fence and chasing cars and other dogs.

Sooooooo......guess who just had to go back and get him, much to my little dogs disgust!

Hmmmmm, does anybody want a dog???

I ended up going out again last night, and I have regretted it all day long!! I got home at about 5:30 am this morning and started work at 10, ewwwwwwwwww

Anyway, I am on holiday now so I am off to lay on the couch for a couple of hours while doing a really good impression of a vegatable....

I have been conducting an experiment over the last week. I have not done any tidying up in the bathroom, just outa curiousity to see what happened......Well tonight I hit my threshold......

I put 8 towels into the washing and had to pick up 6 of the carboard bits from the middle off loo rolls into the bin, as well as loads of other stuff that you dont really wanna know about


That was the experiments bit.......now for the lessons....

I let my eldest straighten my hair tonight and I must have told her about 20 times to PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE watch my ears!

Now, it aint that I have big ears; I kinda like my ears....(I have very sexy ears if you must know)

The thing is, I now have a very straight left ear.....with a nasty burn on it!!!

DAMNNNNNN KIDS!!

I have just finished another shitty day at work, tomorrow is my day off and I have an 8 hour shift on Saturday.....and then













I am off work for a week and a half!!!!!! Thank gawwwddd!!

I really feel like I need this break, and I dont have anything planned (unless you count non stop housework) but I had to use the days up or lose them...so who cares really??



The prize for the funniest answer to my last blog has to go to mdguy, for making me really laugh out loud and spurt tea down my nose this morning....lol

The injury was caused by the use of that blonde wig......I used my fingers to comb it through a bit when I put it on. It wasn't till later on that I realised how dangerous a wig can be....It has sliced my nails to shreds with splits running right down the length of my nails. They are gonna break off real soon and I just know that is gonna hurt (

Did I mention that I am a wimp and I don't handle pain well....lol

Well, it seems last night pic taking has taken its toll on me.


Believe it or not but I now have 3 fingers wrapped in band-aids after last night and its all down to my pic taking.


I am not even gonna tell you how I did it, I think it may be more fun to let you all use your imaginations and think up your own theories......

Been a busy little bee lately, but it seems to be paying off a bit

I am just about to run out the door for work, and my mouth is still all numb from the dentist this morning. So if anybody speaks to me or makes me laugh I will probably slaver or give them my squint smile!

But at least my tooth is fixed now, so once the numbness wears off I will be smiling non stop!!!
