The sun has been shining all day and its been really warm outside.....but have I been out in it at all????


OOHHHH NOOOOOO!!! Never mind that I was off work today, I had too much to get done in the house. Today was my first day off since getting the new couch, so I had to re-arrange my living room to accomodate it properly.

Finally, I think I am just about there. The only thing really needing tidied now is my desk and that is a massive job on its own, so I really can't face doing it just now. Maybe tomorrow...


I have a relaxing evening planned tonight....feet up on the new couch with a bag of crisps and dips and maybe a little drink or 3

The kids insisted that I took part in Earth hour....so here I am.....In the dark!


We started half an hour late so we are going half an hour longer

I 'think' I have sorted out the problem from earlier...I can't say more than that really but she has been reined in big style.

Well, the answer to this blog title is, there are many ways to do that really!!

The main ones being either lying to me or trying to treat me like I am an idiot. I have to add here......my eldest has tried both of these approaches tonight.

Long story - to short......yesterday she asked if she could stay with a friend tonight and I said "Yeah, ok"

Tonight she adds in, that her mate's dad is having a birthday party tonight and they are both going to it. Straight away I jumped down her throat with the "You had better not be drinking, and I am not too happy about this set up and the way you have gone about it!"

After about a million assurances that she wouldn't be drinking and her questions about how she could, with so many people around her.....I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and let her go. (against my better judgement)

I have just had her dad on the phone, telling me that she asked him to buy her alcohol earlier today!!

The WARPATH is miles away from where I am walking right now!!!!!!!

I finished work just over 3 hours ago, and I have just sat down for the first time tonight.....AND IM KNACKERED!!

My new couch arrives tomorrow, so tonight I have fought the 2 two seaters I had before outa the house and began gutting the room big style. I woulda had this done before but I only had 2 day notice......and yeah I know I was just off work for a week and a half...but that was my time off (lol....I know!!)

As it stands right now....I have a one side of my living room emptied and ooohhh SOOOO very tidy and if we ignore the other side of the room then we are doing well!

My ex-hubby is coming to sit tomorrow to wait for the delivery since I am working and my hope is that he will feel 'a need' to do the rest of the room.......

Sometimes karma is a bitch.....but on other occassions she is a little honey!

Today she was the best ever! I'm sorry for being so cryptic, but I have my reasons. The main thing is that I am smiling from ear to ear today with a feeling of total satisfaction after the day I have just had.

Things are beginning to fall into place for me in a way I have been hoping for, for quite a while now

......and I do appologise before anybody listens...but I have loved this band (from the closet of course) for a long time, even before Robbie left!!!!! And loved this song since it came out....(not to mention most of their older stuff too)

Is it Friday 13th again already???? Well, it certainly seems to be for my friend who is on her way up from down south today.

She was leaving her home around lunchtime, and discovered the M6 was closed both ways so an air ambulance could land on it or something like that. So she held off a while before setting out. Then 10 minutes into her journey her exhaust fell off the car.....lol

Sounds like my kinda luck. Anyway, she went back home and picked up her partners car and is now on her way.....YAYYYYY

Hopefully she can get here before it's too late and we can have a good old catch up with each other!!!

You know what? I think I need to take a time out from my blogging just now........

At least until I have something exciting and interesting to say in my blogs. I don't know about everybody else, but I am tired of blogging about housework, kids, study, dogs etc........

Maybe I need to get out more and get more of a life, but right now I am boring myself....god knows how everybody else feels!!!

Or maybe its just my ever changing mood again, who knows??
