I PASSED!!!!! Thankfully, because I don't think I could bear to sit through some of that stuff again. I will be using it daily, but I think it will be much easier using it than it was being taught it.

I was laughing tonight with one of my (now) employees. I have to do 1-2-1 quarterly appraisals with them starting in 2 weeks time, which will be really weird since a couple of the girls I have to appraise have been working there for over 10 years.....and in I walk and after a year I'm supposed to tell them wheat to do better. The guy I was working with tonight told me I could practice on him ;P

I kept laughing at him, but he got a bit upset when he realised I had to point out what he was doing wrong rather than only focus on what he was doing right....lol

Thank god that is over and done with......Well, it is if I passed the assessment, but I have to wait till tomorrow to find out!!

I never realised to just now, that I now have a Friday night to myself ANDDDDDD a late start tomorrow )

Today wins the award for the longest day ever!!!!!

I left the house over 12 hours ago, but to be honest it feels more like 3 weeks ago. We had so much to cram into today, but we managed somehow, although by the end of the day I can't say that I was taking much more in.

Right now I feel like I need 2 matchsticks to hold my eyes open, but I think I will venture into chat for a bit.....maybe just to watch for while - I'm too tired to talk much..

I must be getting used to early mornings, I woke up before my alarm (well to be honest the kids woke me up arguing, but after shouting at them for 5 minutes I woke up properly...lol) and actually got out of bed.

It's not even 8 yet and I am ready to go, have had me tea and my brekkie.....So now I have a whole 10 spare minutes till I have to leave! I wonder what I can do with them?

I am amazed at how some people in so called "upper management" got their jobs, and then not only that but manage to keep them.

My idiot senior manager fits right into that category. I was almost an hour and a half into my journey today when he phoned me to tell me I was being pulled out of the course to cover another shop that isn't even my shop FFS!!! The manager of the other shop was complaining she hadn't had a day off this week......WELLL BOOOOO FUCKING HOOOO!!! Both my manager and myself worked our days off this week, so I can go on this course, and we have an employee off ill too, but we are coping.

Anyway, after a lot of arguing and a lot of folks getting rightly very pissed off with him.....WE came up with the solution and I didn't have to jump straight back on another bus home.

Anyway, after that bad start to the day the course went very well and we sailed through the stuff we had to do today and even got an early finish )

Hopefully tomorrow will start off better than today did

Now I've got the cold! lol, just what I need this week!!

A change of plan at work, I still have to go to Glasgow on Wed, Thurs and Fri....but I don't have to go to the other shop today. I was supposed to go and get a whole load of paper work done ready for the rest of the week, but I was told I can just do it on Wednesday in Glasgow, so that frees me up a little for some of today

Last night was really good fun, It was great to see my mate and the kids were totally hyper at seeing her.

I went horse-riding last night again (that's what I have been doing for the last few weeks, and what has been causing me to be soooooo sore - but happy sore!) and for the first time I have absolutely no aches and pains today. My muscles must finally have gotten used to it again and they ain't screaming out at me anymore. I am wanting to get back into teaching again, but after having been away from it for so long, I have a really long way to go. It's okay though coz I don't mind and I will just take it as it comes and see what happens

Well I got through work today, so 1 down only 6 to go

It's my eldest's birthday today, I can't believe she is 15 already....that's just scary! I have a surprise visitor for her tonight, and I know she will be over the moon when she sees her......I will be too because it's my best friend in the whole world - who moved down to England a few years ago adn we don't get to see each other too often these days.

Anyway, got loads still to be getting on with.............

I thought I would dive in here for a quickie before I start this week, I'm not sure I will get in much this week. I am training again in Glasgow 3 days this week, am in another shop for one day and working in my own shop for 3!! Today was supposed to be my day off, but guess what.......yup I gotta go in....grrrrrrr

JL's morning beats mine so far, but for the last hour I have been trying to dry my youngest's school jumper with a hairdryer (since I forgot to take it out the washing machine last night) and I only blew the fuse on it 2x!!

My fingers have just about healed from last week, so I am going back tonight - WITH GLOVES ON!!
