Is what my life resembles right now, and I am freaking sick and tired of it!!! I want tomorrow to come, in fact it is my wish right now, but I keep getting pulled back into today (

Right now, I am okay when I have things to do - not stuff around the house but other stuff, like running around for dance shows, working, even sitting in a+e!!

Its when I have to slow down and deal with the situation right now that I start to have problems. I can't be a nasty person all the time but I feel like I have to right now - for my own self preservation!

Is that selfish, I dunno.......I just know it IS what I have to do whether I enjoy it or not

My kids both attend a dance school and both work really hard all year as do all the other kids and teachers there. They break up for the summer hols at the end of the week and every year at this time they put on a 2 - 3 day dance show putting together everything they have learned all year.

Last night was day one of the shows, so I had rearranged my shifts and had a very long day ahead of me. I started work early and put in an 8 hour shift, then ran home, made dinner and food for them to eat between dances, got their drinks sorted and did last minute sewing fixes on some of their costumes. As I am watching the show tonight, I was backstage last night so then I had to fly through and do another shift of crazy, frantic backstage dressing, make-up and anything else that was needed.

The kids had done most of their dances when I got told I had to go down and get my oldest who had hurt her knee doing one of her dances. So I went down to her and she was in floods of tears and could hardly walk! She was more upset because she knew she wasn't going to be able to go back on to do the finale.

So, after packing up, and arranging somebody to take care of my youngest one for the rest of the night and probably overnight I had a trip to A+E. We sat there for the best part of 2 hours before getting seen but the good new was after x-rays nothing is broken, she is now strapped up and has painkillers and instructions to rest it!

I now have to deal with an inconsolable teen who wanted her 15 minutes of fame and ain't gonna get them this year!

Well, I was supposed to start work at 2pm today but just got a phonecall from a colleague telling me it is really quiet today, so she will cover for me for a while if I want to wander in a little later.......So, I guess I will just wander in, in about an hours time. I am ready to go so I can now just laze around for a bit longer. I know I should really do some housework or something, but this time is a bonus so I aint wasting it on anything as dreary as that...lol

My wrist is still killing me, and I still don't know what I have done to it. I think it's broken/fractured or something but it ain't even nearly as sore as it was yesterday, so hopefully its not quite that bad! I think I must have done whatever I did to it in my sleep, probably boxing somebody or maybe even my bedside cabinet in my dreams - but whatever it was the other party won.

Anyway have a great Monday everybody, mine has started out not too badly!! xxx

Kids had their gala day today and I am knackered! We went out this morning and got them new outfits then went for lunch. After that we watched the parade which for once was very good this year! Then we went to the shows and I was happy enough being the jacket and bag holder while they did all the fairground rides. For once the rain stayed off most off the day which made all the difference for them, I was gonna do a bbq for dinner but the rain didn't hold off that long so it was a bit of a throw together for dinner, but now we are all sitting here stuffed and sleepy!

All in all a really good day!

It is just about 3:30 pm yeah?

Okay, well I'm sure I have to be at work or something.....lmao!!!

I lazed about most of the morning, then had a mad rush to get ready for starting work at one o'clock. I ran outa the door and got into my work with about 5 minutes to spare. I got a couple of weird why are you here looks, before realising I don't start until 3:30!!!

DAmmitttttt........ohhhh well, some more time to waste until then I spose....lol

I'm getting a car!!!!! I haven't had one since my accident a couple of years back and I was just saying the other day that I really miss having one.

Haha, I moaned in the right ears and guess what......I'm getting it as a gift so I only need to take out a bank loan now for the petrol to run it!

I read juicy's blog a couple of weeks ago about her birthday and how things break down at that time. I remember thinking how much that sucked...........

So far this week, my cooker has packed in, the dog had to go to the vet, the kids needed 3 new pairs of tights for their dancing (costing £15 each), my internet security has needed renewed, i had to buy a new digital camera, I have been ripped off on ebay, have a new school course of £75 for one of my kids and had to pay for somebody else to not live here anymore.......and yeah, its my birthday tomorrow!!!

I'm just glad its not my birthday everyday!
