Wow! It is amazing how quiet a house can be with one little person less in it, and she really is such a small little thing too!

Anyway, I'm just getting ready to go to work and I have got the training co-ordinator coming in today to give me a 2 hour assessment, before I go on a 2 day course next week. Omg...and I haven't even went over the stuff I'm getting tested on since last week, so fingers crossed.....

Well I dropped my daughter off this morning and as I was walking away it was kinda like leaving her at the school on her first day there, I had a little tear in my eye....My baby is growing fast and now doesn't even need me for a few days so she can go and have an adventure...but at the same time I am kinda proud that she is grown enough to be really excited about the whole thing too!!

Anyway, the dammit is because I just found her swimming suit which should have been in her case....lol...wonder what they would say if I followed them the 150 miles or so they are going, to give it to her...heeeheeee

My daughter goes to school camp this Wednesday, so I have been trying to get everything organized for her for the past few weeks, but me being me......I spent most of today running around and spending an absolute fortune getting all those last minute things that I never quite got around to getting.

So now I can relax, most of it is packed away and I just have a couple of things to wash now for her. Although I now have to try and NOT SPEND any more money before payday, coz I don't have any left!!

That stupid people should not be given a job beside me, I spent the whole of yesterday fixing a stupid mistake made by somebody else, and it kinda killed my whole day.

I suppose I should maybe get dressed now and go do something useful though, since the kids get home from school in about 10 seconds time.........

So far this year, I have been hospital, been unable to walk for almost a week, and then yesterday when I was in the shower it started making weird noises....fine I thought and just ignored it. Until the water stopped coming through the hose and started spurting out of the shower unit itself! I got the fright of my life and managed to jump out of the water petrified that I was gonna be fried or something. I switched it off at the mains then proceeded to panic about what could have happened.

Then today my daughter came home about 15 minutes after leaving from school in a stranger's car. She had managed to get knocked down by a stationary vehicle (only she can do these things). The guy was turning his car and she walked behind him, slipped and managed to half knock herself out and land under the car.

I'm thinking that maybe we are just getting all our bad luck stuff over at the start of this year........ROLL ON FEBRUARY PLEASE!!!!!

I am almost settled into 2008 properly now, we didnt get much time off from work over Christmas and New Year but I am now enjoying 3 much needed days off which I will be using to try and put the house back together again.

Thankfully, the kids are back at school again so that is one small mercy.

Ohhh yeah!! Remember I said that the kid's dad was being quite good with them again? Well I went and spoke wayyyyyyyyy too soon again! I found a couple of big bottles of a vodka alco-pop in my eldest's drawers, one half finished and the other about a quarter of the way through....(remember she is ONLY 14!) so once I got over the initial shock and questioned her about where she got it, I was totally gobsmacked when she told me that the idiot that calls himself a dad bought them for her.

Needless to say I had a few choice words for him and I have decided that they are not getting to stay with him again since he is incapable of being anywhere even close to a responsible adult. I just dont get it, I mean, Okay I let them have a small glass of wine with Christmas dinner but buying a 14 year old 2 bottles of that vodka kick stuff is just downright stupidity!!
