The world as we knew it has changed forever, we will have to in time, get used to a new normal....

Do you really think so, TC? I'm hoping history will repeat itself, à la Spanish flu 🤞
(3 years ago)
Didn't the world slightly shift on its axis after Spanish Flu, 18 million dead? Despite rumours I wasn't around then.... and was Spanish Flu truly global?
I hope so as well, but...ya know, a new breed of moronic twats seem to be in charge of several countries at the moment....

Ours has shifted too and we've a long way to go yet. I don't expect normal any time soon.

I'll just say, I am very happy I live where I do and not in some congested virus infected city type environment.
Don't you mean you are hoping history won't repeat itself?
I'd like it to fizzle out, like it did last time. I don't want to think about it being so virulent forever. I'm not as optimistic as some about a vaccine, but I'd be happy to be wrong on that.
Ah of course. I was thinking along the lines of 2nd wave.

I actually think a lot of people who are likely to have died from this are dead, I know a lot more will do, but the death rate will fall while the infection rate remains high, why? I don't know
(3 years ago)
Some people, a lot of people were and are particularly vulnerable to Covid, a lot are whiloe not immune are not affected by it, but can infect others

while*

I think I agree with you. I'm going for a lie down.
Death rates are higher also coz its easier and less paperwork to add Covid to the symptom of cause. Unfortunately
(3 years ago)
Going to be a long time for that,if ever..get used to wearing masks.
