Classic as in how,I know I'm not fond of the new look myself but if you go to the bottom of a person's profile just before comments and press 'view my pics' it should show the old style
I'm getting the new phone style when I click on pictures in some situations and not in others - I've not experimented much but it seems that from a photos page old style, from a profile new style.
yeah they are work arounds - what you're saying is that there isn't a way to avoid the (imo) inferior interface on the desktop; which to me is a backward step.
I never said it was a good change but since you will more than likely be on that persons page it's not a deal breaker to scroll down a bit further to click the link to their pics
