So I was sent out on the hubby run... ya know get girly stuffs. So I set the box on the counter and the cute young lady checking me out made a snarky remark about this big burly fella buying a box of pads.
Without missing a beat I said to her between the wife and two young ladies I've gotta do something so they wipe my ass and change my diapers when I'm old. The look on her face... boy lemme tell ya the stunned and horrified look on her face. Just brings that special kinda smile to my lips bahahahah!
Anyways enough sharing for the evening =P~

Guy on the way to the grocery store recorded this on his phone. You see things in the news about all of the terrible things in urban area's that low income survive in. Having lived that way in my past I know the hardships and dangers, but unless you've been there you'll never know the jewel that is the ghetto. Sometimes you just don't know...

As some of you know we lost our family dog right before Christmas, and we decided a few months ago it was time to get a new family pet.
I've told several of you I'd get around to posting a couple pics and so I finally have at my normal pace lol. His name is Clyde, we also affectionately call him Cletus for some unknown reason he really likes it lmao. He is a full blood Boxer and such a character... has really been a perfect fit for the family.
This was just a couple weeks ago when Clyde got to go to his first Crawfish boil... He was a fan lol!

And here MrsTexasPeach caught us lounging in bed today contemplating a nap haha.

I'm sure there will be other pictures to come for those that are interested, those that aren't shall survive it. =P

Houston has changed so much since I was a little kid but it's good to see stories like this still in the news... Reminds me of the good hearted kindness of the place I've known as home.
For those that care to skip the news article, it's simply a street in a neighborhood doing an unnecessary act of kindness for the man that lives down the road.

Was reading through the news and ran into an awesome article. There is this young fella in San Francisco that is in remission from leukemia. He thought he was getting to take this wonderful trip from Make-A-Wish to SF to be the recipient of a expensive and awesome BatKid suit just for him.
Once he get's there they had one spectacular surprise for him to go along with the suit, a couple of Lamborghini's and BatMan were waiting to whisk the tiny super hero to rescue a damsel in distress. She was bound and gagged on the tracks of the rail, then the two hero's rushed to nab the Riddler as he robbed a downtown bank, followed by flash mob that helped give cover to the final caper... the diabolical kidnapping of the San Francisco Giants mascot -- Lou Seal -- by the Penguin.

Thousands of people volunteered to be a part of the day's fantastic deed for this young fella. I can only imagine he had the best time of his life! Things like this make my heart warm, to know that humanity with all of its flaws can be so selfless and amazing. "Hey char....that isn't always the story for Make a Wish kids, if that makes you feel better. This little guy has been through 3 years of treatment for ALL, and he is currently in remission. :) A good friend here....her daughter is 2 years out from ALL treatments and is doing fairly well. She went right after her treatments were over to meet Selena Gomez. These kids will have life-long issues (like soft bones after so many steroids), but hopefully they survive long-term."
