Mad busy and because of the heat I've been working on the laptop so haven't had time to check out all you lovely people.
I had a bit of a reunion with some very old friends at the weekend and loved it to bits, it's amazing how people get older but still all the things they say and do are exactly how you would expect them to, even though you haven't seen them in years.
I arrived late and made a made entrance then stayed way too late and ended up sleeping on the couch. Still I think I've aged the best, ha ha.

Today is no fun, I was tossing and turning all night and couldn't get to sleep. So today I'm grumpy and it's muggy.
Gio and Manic have been going on about music, I can't listen to music radio stations because I hate all the music they play, and the itunes feels a little cold. As I work home alone I need to hear a voice so listen to a station that mostly has phone ins about football and politics, the latter really crack me up as it's quite a right wing audience, well when I sat quite I mean screaming hang em and flog em white supremists. Hey a new band the supreme supremists what do you think?
Anyway I digress.
The open is on today and although I don't dislike a bit of golf I don't want to listen to it on the radio all day. So I'm on the itunes which is slowing down my Illustrator something rotten.
Today is arse! But never mind tomorrow will be another day.

Well yesterday I was a wash out. Camping was ok for a two nights but that's it as far as I am concerned. I felt so dirty when I got home, and not in the right way either. It's funny how much traffic we will endure to enjoy a bit of sun and sea. Still the beaches where pleasant enough and their was some nice eye candy too.
Bournemouth was a laugh, even managed to pull a local lass and enjoy a knee trembler behind a pub, which was neither private (as she suggested) or descreet. Still it felt nice and rounded off a good weekend.
Glad we were not camped next to us though. These campers like their beauty sleep don't they. Well have to push on as I lost a day yesterday but thanks to all the kind words and feedback. I love you all and may your God go with you.

Christ just got back from the gym, haven't been in 1 and half weeks and I actually feel sick, now that's not good.
Off camping this weekend (now that's not what I meant). I hate tents and all that open air crap, but I do like the challenge of cooking for a load of hungry friends in hostile surroundings so should be fun. Anyway it's an excuse to get hopelessly drunk and run round naked.
Do you know I have PM'd about 10 people for various reasons and had no replies, 1 was to ask about Barbados in August/September, how harmless is that?

wow, I feel so tired today, must be the excitement hang-over of the world cup and so farewell Zidane you weirdo, never trusted the odd look in his eyes. My only thought at the time was if you are going to get sent off like that why not just punch the guy in the face at least you go out with style instead of some half arsed stag impression.
Feel stupid horny today as well, I hate it when I'm like this and alone. Be sure I'll be wading through loads of NN photos through out the day.

Well back from Barcelona ( see manic, Barca) and it was a usual lovely, fun vibrant and lively. Although I've concluded that the Catalans are as miserable as the Parisians. Did a bit of sight seeing too (well it was work) and managed to get the modern art museum. Personally I'd give this a miss, I think conceptual art is more about the artist than the art. Clothing was interesting without being inspiring so I'm back here trying to formulate all the information.
Oh and sex in a Jacuzzi is to be recommended.I'll say no more. Well if pushed I might.

On a separate issue, duttyrock[chick] mentioned the 07.07 bombing which at the time was very worrying I had several friends on the tube near the areas that were effected. We are a tough breed here though and have lived through the IRA trying to destroy ordinary lives too. It never works, not just here but anywhere, people pick themselves up and carry on with more determination. It's an anathema.

It's offical we had the best fans, which is such great news, even where I live everyone was well behaved after the game. This to me means so much, I hate the fact that we are looked at as the global thugs, we have the most multiracial country on the planet yet as soon as we step of the island we become the most ignorant bigots. It's all changed now.(WELL TILL HOLIDAY SEASON).

As a final note on the world cup, I'd say that we might be the best fans but from what I heard Germany is by far the best hosts.
I go to Berlin a fair bit and love it. You guys are the business.

Hung over today, for me the world cup is over, I heard there was a bit of trouble in Germany but hopefull it wasn't bad enough to make people think that we still have the worse fans.
I was with some mates in a crowded pub and belive me it was worth ever minute. The atmosphere was amazing, and mostly everyone shrugged their shoulders and went home to watch France beat Brazil. Now imagine being Brazillian.

I am using this as a place to vent today. I've just got a parking ticket, ahhhhhhhhhh, the really annoying thing is that
a) I'm in the wrong and
b) it's my first one ever.
I'm such a stickler for things like this, no points on my licence, never stop in box juctions all that jazz but here am I now with this stupid parking ticket. I'm going to appeal cos I can, any advise would be greatly appreciated.
I'm trying to find a 'but on a lighter note' but can't. Oh except at least I'm not spanish cos they got dumped out of the world cup.
