And now, I have to get dressed (not naked, just not dressed appropriately for leaving my house) so I can return the movies I rented yesterday. "Mama" which my youngest wanted to see. It was okay, I guess, but I thought the basic story was lame. And "Jack Reacher" which was freakin' awesome!

I went hiking, not in a new place; I've been there 3 times previously. But never during spring. Which apparently is when you need to go, if you want to see the waterfalls.



I would have loved to have gotten closer, but it's privately owned and they want people to stay on the trails.

Youngest is at a school dance. Thinking about getting a hold of a friend, see if she's going out tomorrow. My other friend, supposed to be best friend, doesn't want me hanging out with her. I can tell, because she told me that this girl and a certain ex-lover of mine used to fuck. Well, maybe they did, maybe they didn't, but that was before I ever knew him so it doesn't matter. She's always telling me what kind of whores all these men are, anyway.

A small part of the trail I hike after therapy. I think, time and weather permitting, I need a change of scenery so I can find something else to take pictures of.

Thinking about taking a nap, but I'm thinking, about the time I get into a nice, deep sleep...my youngest is going to call for me to pick her up. Maybe I should have some coffee instead.

So glad for the nicer weather. Cleaned out my garage yesterday (my car can almost fit) and worked in my garden.



Right by my garden. Eventually, there should be False Soloman's Seal and Lily of the Valley. Although last year, deer ate almost all of the False Soloman's Seal.

My yard is way too soggy so I had to go to the beach to enjoy the sun. Got a bit creeped out, though...I just happened to look up from the book I was enjoying and my neighbor's boy toy/fuck buddy/whatever was on the trail overhead. And about half an hour later, he came down to the beach. I just kept reading and pretended he wasn't there. It would have been uncomfortable enough as it was...but I was in my bikini so that made it even more uncomfortable. Well, I'm definitely not going to be taking anymore topless pictures down there. (Not what I was doing today.)

My mother's day breakfast; my youngest made it completely by herself. They're fixing the dinner today-grilling-I can hardly wait. And now I have about 20 more minutes before I have to get the youngest from track practice...just enough time for a cup of coffee.

I had a lovely mother's day...my youngest made me breakfast (scrambled eggs with sauteed veggies and cheese) and rented "Django" and watched it with me...and a call from my oldest.

From my hike yesterday. It was the most interesting thing I saw.



In my garden. I'm excited. And such a dork, I'll probably check them every day to see if they've opened.

Had a good time with my oldest and one of her best friends. It did take up the whole day, but that's okay. Way too cold for me to garden anyway. Right now, I'm enjoying having the house to myself. My oldest is out of town (for 5 days) and my youngest is at a track meet.
