Laid-back, easy going guy until my passions are aroused. I've been here 3 other times... I keep trying to get it right, I guess. lol

In the 1980s, scientists 'discovered' the woman's G spot. That means the men went to the moon before they went to the G spot.

I once won a bet with a roommate by eating my favorite breakfast every day for a month: Ham, eggs over easy and english muffins with butter, orange juice and milk. The day after I had won the bet, my roommate walked into the kitchen to find me making the same meal again. Why? he asked. I still have the ingredients left, I replied.

Wednesday, July 12, 2023, 6:41:52 PM- The heat is on
I checked the weather before going on my walk today. It read: Currently 86 degrees, 'real feel' 98 degrees. It was fairly humid out there and I did sweat accordingly. When I got home, as I was stripping down before my shower, I looked at temperatures in other areas. It said: Today it will be 130 degrees in Death Valley, California. I suddenly didn't feel as hot as I did before reading that. ~

Tuesday, July 11, 2023, 6:35:48 PM- Flags
Every day I see our national flag displayed everywhere - In yards, on cars, on clothing. That's great. There's nothing wrong with showing your national pride. Where I don't see my fellow countrymen displaying our flag is when we're in another country. It's one thing to show off when you're own turf... Quite another when no one is around to back you up. ~

Monday, July 10, 2023, 6:28:24 PM- HAH!
The older I get, the more I hear doom and gloom from my peers. We were/are Baby Boomers and this is what we grew up with: As elementary students, we would be marched out into the halls of our schools and told to curl up in a ball in case of a nuclear attack... this was a regular drill. In 1962, we came within hours during the Cuban Missile Crisis of having nuclear war with the U.S.S.R. come true. In 1963 our president was assassinated. In 1968 Martin Luther King Jr, a proponent of equal rights for all was assassinated. The late president's brother, running for president was assassinated. We were in a bloody, senseless war in South East Asia. At home, those marching for civil rights and against the war were violently attacked. Yes, in this century we've had 9/11 and Covid-19. And yet, we continue on. The bible even mentions how we will always have 'wars and rumors of wars'. But I see that no matter how dark the skies become, we always seem to find the light. To Hell with the nay-sayers. Live your life to the fullest and bring joy whenever/wherever you can. ~

I stepped on a teeny, tiny rock barefoot and bruised my heel. It's a pain that comes and goes as I walk around. A gift that keeps on giving. ~
