The magic night is almost here. Yep, most are busy with family and friends already, or staying up later to finish the assembly of toys, (Do parents still do that?) or rushing to a Mass or service, setting the food aside for later. On the bad side: There are good people still cold, feeling dirty and hungry with no power or clean water. - Not just only in the Northeast of the US. On the bright side: My friends and family affected by Sandy are alive; - staying with friends because their homes are partly destroyed, damaged or without basic utilities. But they are alive. Also on the bright side, I don't have to lower the US flag in front as a result from the election. Maybe we can unclog Congress yet. But that's not a sure thing. And...well, getting laid has never been a sure thing either. But at least more likely. (grin). | ||||||
